My bumps have pretty much stabilized and don't give me any problem. My ostomy nurse maintains that I don't have to worry about them unles... I often get the phantom feelings after a meal. It's so weird. I want to run to the bathroom, then realize that I don't have to do a... I find myself keeping my hand on top of my stoma at times so that I can feel the action down there. I do it a lot when watching TV without even think... My surgeon used mesh during the construction of my ileostomy. He said that it reduces the chance of peristomal hernias later. I'm only about 8 month... @veganostomy

IMG_6260... I wear wraps from Ostomysecrets. The unisex ostomy classic wrap. I have two black ones and a white one. I use them for everything except sleeping. ... Directly after surgery, everything inside of me felt kind of "sloshy." I'm a side sleeper, and I remember feeling like everything would just slosh ov... I use a clipper by Wahl - a small one designed for beards. I can't shave the hair around my stoma with a razor because I get ingrown hairs that way. ... @veganostomy
