So as you most of you know, I had my stoma relocated to the other side. When I've been noticing is from time to time, it feels like I'm going on the other side. Like it feels like that stoma is still there and that its still having output and can feel it coming out. But that's impossible because they took that stone a down. I guess they would call it a phantom stoma. It's very strange though. That’s likely a phantom sensation—your brain still thinks the old stoma is there. It’s something others have experienced after relocation, and it usually settles down over time. @alanklein i'm glad to know i'm not alone in this. That's the craziest thing I've ever felt. But I suppose, because I got so used to it on that side for so many years. @veganostomy it is mighty freaky!! Especially when you already feel it coming out into the bag on the one side and now from the phantom. They don't ever seem to be happening at the same time though. Chelly, for years, I get this weird feeling beside my pouch and often has me checking for leaks running down just beside my pouch down my side & to my lower back. I have lots of scar tissue so I've always just put it off to the nerves healing or the nerves wrapped in scar tissue reacting to the actual nearby intestine working. It is a Bazar feeling and has had me awake at night feeling my clothes & checking for a leak never to find one there. I think *phantom* describes it well. 🤔 Linda
