I've had APR, they took the last 10inches of the larger intestine. 1oyrs ago now. fro... well Dan, the biggest mistake that is constantly being made is that people expect doctors to be experts in everything. that is unbelievably unrealist... since you have a colostomy, in my experience I have zero skin problems due to exposed areas. I often do not change a bag til the flange is 70% lifted... why can't you just cut the hole a little larger? can't imagine how a 2 piece would solve your problem? I use coloplast 1 piece bags. I do have coloplast curved scissors, but I just use straight cut scissors anymore, ... Oh, bad idea. for one you can be looked upon as a probable liability, and two, its a bad idea to think a potential employer knows more about the lim... sometimes that long hair will get pulled too by the bag flange , not very comfortable...... looks like you have a small granuloma at 7 o-clock. I have a couple myself and they seem to contain nerve endings, my hurt a bit if I bump them righ... I've found plastics to be the most dangerous materials to cut. if fed too slowly the plastic will melt and move into the blade sideways then kickback...
