Hey Eric,
Thanks for the review!
I had a question regarding how to choose the right size of belt - on the nu-hope size chart, it says the following:
Fold the sides of the pouch inward as shown, take measurement across the center and + 1/8”( 3mm ) or 1/4”( 6mm ) depending on pouch.

What does depending on the pouch mean? I am currently using convatec flanges of size 2 1/4". What would the right size be for me?
Would it be 2 1/4 + 1/8 or would it be 2 1/4 + 1/4?

I plan to get this ordered and shipped to me in India.. so didn't want to get it wrong! Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Krishnapriya

Hey, Krishnapriya.

For questions like that, I would prefer that you contact Nu-Hope directly as I don't want you to order the wrong product. It's possible that they are referring to the various flange sizes between brands, which can add an extra few millimeters to the overall measurement, but that's only a guess.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy the belt!

Warm Regards,
Eric

Thanks Eric!
I got in touch with them. I thought I would share the details here in case it might help someone else.
They say that for a regular two piece appliance, just adding half an inch to the flange size will result in a comfortable fit.
Regards,
Krishnapriya

Hey all,
Question: I’m not sure I understand why this does not work with 2 piece locking systems, i.e. Coloplast Mio click? The locking mech with this pouch system seems to sit behind the floating flange that this sits on? I’m considering it for some light abdominal support/bag support with activity though I know this not what it’s intended for.

Thanks in advance!

The plastic ring of this belt is supposed to fit snuggly around the coupling of the 2pc. When you have a locking mechanism, there's no good way to put the belt on without it being lifted up on one side or pressing awkwardly on the lock.

That inconsistency will cause the belt to not work as expected.

THANK YOU so much for this video. This looks like a perfect solution for my hubby who's been having leaks while his body shape is changing while he's on steroids for a skin condition. The narrow Hollister belt keeps rolling. One question though – how do you determine the size of the hole in the ring to order? He's using Hollister 15303 flanges (2.25 inches hole from what I can determine on the box). Any help would be much appreciated. I did access the Nu-Hope site with fitting instructions but couldn't figure out the opening size to order.

I have been using the belt with the Coloplast sensura Mio Click (70mm connecting ring) for about 2 years without any problems. I typically wear it 24-hrs per day. I like to fact that the belt is 2" wide. I am overweight and I find the narrower belts cut into my skin (or should I say fat. LOL). I put the locking mechanism on the outside of the ring. You just have to make sure your bag is locked in properly. Otherwise you can knock off the bag if you accidentally hit the ring. It has happened to me once in the 2 years I have been using it. I use the largest ring (3 3/8"), but it also works well with the 3.25" ring.
