I am a kneeler, too, but for my convenience I made a thick kneeling pad - using 3 layers of green sponge (which was sold for assembling gym mat - this one with interlocking edges). Its total thickness is close to 4 cm or 1-1/2", width = 26 cm (10") and length 46 cm (18"). The sponge sometimes used to stick to my knees (when I was wearing shorts) - I did not like it and fixed the problem by covering the pad (knee areas) with felt - the felt is sold in Dollar Stores or craft stores like "Michaels", it has adhesive on one surface.

Underneath, near the right edge of this pad I added a small strip of a sponge - when I finish with emptying the bag, and stand up, then I step on the right edge of pad, which causes the left edge to rise. Then, I move my left foot under the pad and I lift the pad to its vertical position to be stored next to the sink stand. Such an arrangement saves me from bending and manually picking up the pad from the floor.

For emptying and rinsing the bag, I use my invention - the Long, Wide and Flat Tubing, which I always add to my pouches. I can pour (using small funnel) even 2 or 3 L of water in a few seconds - such a "shower" thoroughly rinses my protruding (prolapsing) stoma and the pouch.

I am still puzzled by total lack of interest in my Vent invention.Tried to e-mail Coloplast a few times - they did not respond. My offer to give away samples is still valid.

I have posted this before, but~having issues with my knees, I knew I could not be a kneeler for long! I bought a shower stool on Amazon ($15?) with an adjustable height. I set it at the height where I could face "the throne," empty my bag, and it was a game changer! I had less mess, I could see what was happening, AND saved my knees after 40 yrs. of running, power walking, & aerobics.

Hey, if you can kneel & that works for you, GREAT. For those of us w/knee issues, however, I recommend a cheap, adjustable stool...you can wipe it down w/Lysol as needed; it doesn't take up much space in the bathroom, and, IMHO~  if it makes emptying your bag easier: It's a GREAT THING!
