Hi Sharon, If you don’t already try using a barrier ring as a first line of defence. With extra activities could clothing be rubbing or causing restrictions. Cavlion is great at soothing soreness but like all products use sparingly. Make sure skin is perfectly dry before applying wafer. Lastly if peeling from the edge is a problem maybe  a wafer extender .

My stoma nurses recommend using calamine lotion on any red skin put some on let it dry before putting on the wafer. They recommend always having some calamine lotion to hand hopefully that's a top tip from the experts 8-)

Are you using a "regular wear" wafer or an "extended wear"? The latter is better suited for sweat and may work better for you. 

If you are only experiencing redness, give your skin some open air during changes and perhaps change your appliance a little sooner than you normally would if you are sweating more often.  

If you notice any raw patches or dots, I suggest speaking with your stoma nurse to rule out a fungal infection, which can be more common this time of the year.

what bags are you using and how often are you changing them?    you might change a day sooner to avoid leaks.   I can bend all day for 3-4 days with a 1 piece coloplast sensura. much less with other brands.  2 days with a convatech for an example. 

 when you're a lot more active than usual, need to do a close inspection of the flange morning and night.  I do not like the taped boarder flange of the hollister because you can not "see" a leak coming as with a semi transparent flange/waffer material.

if the picture downloads you can see a leak migrating outwards by my index finger. if Iam not that active, I can go 1 more day, very active, change the bag.
