After 3 days I can see that the odor control works, gas control doesn't seem to work.  Tomorrow is bag change time, I'll see what the stoma looks like at that time.

That sounds great! Looking forward to the update.

Well, I spoke too soon.  A few hours after posting the above.  I had a major leak.  My barrier ring basically gave way.  So even though it works for odor, I won't be continuing with hydrogen peroxide.  (Safe and Simple ring)

Hi Bago:

I have been getting seven days wear with the Brava protective ring ands when I take my appliance off it shows no sign that it was going to leak, I just don't want to risk going further than the seven days without changing, I would rather be safe than sorry. My stoma and my skin are clean and clear and no signs of irritation or redness anywhere.

Sorry you feel it's not for you, but to each his own.

Thanks for sharing your experience, guys!

Navey, the Coloplast Protective Rings are among the best as far as erosion goes, but I wonder if other products are more sensitive to the hydrogen peroxide than they normally would be with water or output.

Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
