Its supposed to be warmer the next few days. @ vegan ostomy , maybe you will get warmer too as your weather tends to be similar to northeast Ohios. Wishing you a little warmth.  

Very nice today and even a bit warm so I ventured out to the store with my wagon and picked up food items and other necessities. I was able to open the windows and air out my place. Nothing beats fresh air and a good walk. 

Warmer today; 9C along Lake Huron, a bit cooler in the city though. We’re at the lake for a few days respite from getting things settled after the move. I actually don’t mind the cold when winter arrives, it’s the early darkness that I find difficult. Sunset at 5pm now ☹️; sunrise at 7:30am. It will get worse in a month. And then it gradually gets better.

The sun is out today, so temperature be damned! I did get out on the bike a few times this weekend, and while it was around freezing, there was no wind, so I was very comfortable.

I hate early darkness. But it looks like things will level off around Dec 5 to 13th, then the sun will hang around a little longer by a few minutes each day. I'm looking forward to daylight-after-dinner again! 🤣 

Very cold nights here. I leave my window cracked opened and i woke up freezing. Supposed to rain for the next 3 days. Glad I was able to get to the store the other day. 

My last post was cold nights but tonight I am literally sweating. It's 53 degrees and humid due to rain. I have the window's open because neighbors have heat on and I'm upstairs so heat rises. I can't sleep so doing a load of my laundry. 

I guess i can't make up my mind. Do I want heat or cold?

🤣Over here, it's like "do you want it freezing with no wind, or cool with wind that'll take down trees?" 

But you're right, sometimes the temperature can make or break your comfort, even by a degree or two (Celsius) when you're indoors.

@veganostomy haha, right! Like today,  I wake up and realize I need a few things and I see snow in the forecast for later. I thought I'd better hurry up and walk with my wagon before it starts.

I head out the door and it's lightly snowing but not flakes, it was these little round white balls tyoe but I thought heck im just going to keep going and hurry and buy a couple cheap plastic drop cloths to cover everything. So that's what I  did and made it back before anything big happened.

When I had gotten to the store I had to lift up the wagon a bit and dump out the white balls ,  but yes I think I'd rather have the trees coming down with wind . My hands were so red and cold when I got home. The good that came out of it is I got what i needed. I always feel like I got rewarded when I get back. This way I can relax for a while knowing I've got what I need. 

I guess we can look at it this way ......one more day of cold weather is one more day closer to get to spring.

I'm counting the days as I look out the window and see another snow storm building up. 😫 

I have to say we really don't get a lot of extremes , get a fair bit of rain but in general you can nearly always get out and about , nice day today with lowest temps of 8C .

😮it's -8C here. We had several extreme weather warnings this weekend, including very strong winds last night. I could hear people's recycling bins "running away"!

We'll be down to -13C (at night) in a few days... 😱 

Really cold nights lately. Snow on the ground and just cold and damp yuk!! 

We are in full winter mode here, and I don’t like it.☹️ It’s too early for this! I had to figure out which box I’d packed my boots in. The next few days will be above zero, so there will be rain instead of snow. 

As an aside, my stoma turned 10 last week. Ten years cancer free!

I think we hit -14C yesterday... it's all just ice and snow here, with more on the way!

nice enough weather , we get a couple of wet days , they some cold dry ones but the cold ones give some nice sunsets ,
