Happy Birthday to me!! Every year on my birthday I reflect inward and thank Squeaky for all these years I almost did not get. I came so close to dying in 2018. The Doctor was surprised I made it through surgery and if my hubby hadn’t called the ambulance, I probably would have died of sepsis, since my colon was perforated in two spots and just leaking into my body. So Squeaky's birthday in June is a big day for me, but I also think about how lucky I am on my birthday as well. I've always loved my birthday and so far now Squeaky has given me 7 more that I might not have gotten. Today is Squeaky’s birthday!! The little fella is 7!! Where does the time go? We stopped at Starbucks on the way to work to get him (okay, me) a coffee treat. Starbucks makes Squeaky so happy that he talks for a couple hours. 🤣 Other than the fact that we are really missing John and Sammy, Squeaky and I are doing okay. 😊 -Liza 🎂 Happy birthday to you both 😊! Then with squeaky in your life she's caused issues that have challenged you further. LIZA, you have handled everything Squeaky tossed at you extremely well and then especially with going back to work & travelling to see family for long car rides & if I remember correctly , didn't your go bag get stolen from your car after it was broken into away from home ?! I can’t believe I’ve had my little sidekick for 8 years. I was sending hubby a message asking him how we were going to celebrate and realized we really need a poop emoji with a party hat. So if anyone knows how to make new emojis, something to consider. I miss you guys and apologize for not being here more. Work is super busy and I’m still traveling to Portland to see my mom as much as possible as her health continues to decline. But I think about my friends here on VO often. Wishing you all the best!! Laurie, The river cruise was amazing. We had such a good time. It is much smaller than an ocean cruise ship-I think there were 190 passengers. The people were all so nice. We did tours in all the towns we stopped in. The weather was perfect. I would highly recommend it!! -Liza
