Did u get the sticky stuff left behind from thee GRAPE FRUIT JUICE she used on the pills before the ice cubes? Hope u cleaned up her finger prints along the side wall- She doesn't know this, but I took sign language-gonna tell Eric what she said too!!! So there!!  I just painted it a sage green color..  How do u guys like the men's bath room?  We ladies? talk about a lounge! 3 showers, large stalls with sinks in them and an emergency phone..  As you know the fancy bath rooms are further down the hall than other lounges.. Maybe u missed the finger prints..  Now that I mentioned it Robert...??????? Dee-Dee hired someone to clean the fancy baths so you don't have to do those.. again. nice effort tho--thanks.....Illona has been here from gods know when--She and Bubbles are at it with the white Z 's..... giggling away---------- telling secrets!!!!! Like they have something to hide--saw their "about me" and "signature" on the wall....... Mary is in the fancy lounge bath counting her pills that got left over.. Said that he is going to show the Dr, 'cause he doesn't believe her..  But she has the proof and others here and Eric's blog about that.. She is armored and ready to go forward with this!!!!!!!!!! Don't blame her.... Now she is asking for more ice cubes--another clean up with those pills issue.. DONT give her grape fruit juice !!!! My goodness!! My poor walls.. :-( 

Don't know about you Robert, but I am still stuffed from the grand slam.  Especially enjoyed the sausage and pancakes!!

Thank  you Illona for our Thanks Giving wishes...... (Seems even today (we have wild tukey's here-cute) While we r getting ready for a feast-they come out and gobble gobble at us.. ) :-)  - spring time is great as they bring their babies..  They own this area during that time.So between the deer's and them, got to watch well as we drive.. love it!! But the deers can be costly to the car.. 

I will start to prepare our Thankful Meal tomorrow, bake pies, start getting the table set--then the next day peel the potatoes clean the turkey-start the bread stuffing..--got to do little at a time as I have infusion before and after that day-and I tire easily--cook the meal and my sons will clean up.. then toms birthday in a week, then Christmas, then My oldest sons birthday on new years day-- 5 very busy weeks-but I am pretty much back on my feet this year (I spent Thanksgiving in the hospital) So- I plan on enjoying my holidays.. So happy that I am at my new normal--and can do for my family again.. Missed that ....

I know some sign language too oh wait different kind of sign language . Bathroom color is kinda dark can you change it ? Of course you Ladies get the nicer bathroom n of course there has to be a PHONE ! Long as us guys get the corner table closest to the loo . I'll have to thank Dee Dee for getting someone to clean the loo I spend enough time in there as it is . I'm glad I ain't paying for Illona n Bubbles man they sure can put away the white Z's no wonder their giggling . Mary is still counting pills ? I already cleaned that place.. And yes I will re-paint the  men's baths la-ta-la-lounge-- What color?  I thought a royal red as there is a  huge arched window for light..with white trim..  AND yes u have a phone in there also-- Along with French doors as we have that leads out to a garden that comes to an curve into the main lounge.. You are in charge of weeding-haven't the funds for that job as of yet. Denny's said that we can order take out delivered.. So Grand Slams for everyone at 8:00 p.m. did u really think that u would leave me behind?????? :)

I came home and cleaned my house, scrubed the kitchen cabinets, all the door knobs and trim around the whole house.  then-baked a pumpkin pie, set the table for Thanksgiving well half way-- 2 loads of laundry-vacuumed, and now sitting in Filicitys chair dont know why she doesn't like it, very comfortable.. but it is hers when she comes home from the hospital. 

As far as Toms motor cycles goes, he gave them all to "make a wish foundation.."  I went on my friends for a we bit the other month.. 

Now where is Barbara hiding? 

Ah purple is fine :), goes well with my cozy fuschia slanket. Never been too picky about where I sit as long as there is nothing nasty there. I'm actually kind of more prone to sit on the floor due to martial arts for 5 or so years as a kid. Too much time in chairs is bad for our backs also.

I'll just set up here with my camp tea set up and drink an endless cup of tea. Something happy about the sound of a tea kettle whistling away. Might dash a wee bit of rum in there. Depends how I feel.

Well, has anyone else had a hole/opening happen in their sewn shut butt?  Of all things, now that.  Been itching/stinging a little...  have to keep it packed for 2 weeks and dry.

But the good news is he set up Dec 6th to take out my port.... Glad to get rid of that thing.

Mary I have heard of issues with the butt incision opening, pretty common I think. I am sure Eric had this happen.

I wasn't sewn up, but my incision/wound was problematic.  I think that for the most part, it should head up again. I hope that itching and stinging goes away soon for you - I know how annoying and uncomfortable that feels. 

Marcie don't worry we wouldn't really leave you behind . Check with the guys on the royal red sounds good to me . Can we get that phone in every stall ? Don't worry I will take care of the weeding but I don't do windows so don't go there ... Grand slams delivered for everyone sounds good to me ! Hi, Robert!  No, I do not use any butter.  I usually spray the 8 x 8 baking dish with Pam (or some other non-stick spray), but no, I do not add any butter at all.  Just creamed corn, whole kernel corn, the tube of saltine crackers, two eggs, and a can of milk.  That's it.  Nothing else.  Without butter, it's "diet" scalloped corn!!!!  LOL  LOL  LOL

Today, my husband and I are cutting up the celery and onion, and cubing the bread for stuffing.  (Will get the stuffing ready in the morning - just have to add milk and sage.)  I'll peel and cube the sweet potatoes.  Peel the butternut squash and cut it up to cook.  Just getting ready for tomorrow.  I learned a long time ago to do the prep work the day before, and there isn't the wild confusion and mad dash to get everything done at once.  Oh, and I'm baking the pies today, too.

Then tomorrow, I take "George" out of the fridge, put him in the old-fashioned electric turkey roaster (like your grandmother had), turn it on and let him cook.  Then I get the sweet potatoes, brown sugar and butter (no marshmallows, thank you) in the baking dish, cover it with tin foil and chuck it in the oven.  Then I'll put the squash in a pot to cook on the stove, drain it, mash it, add the butter and nutmeg and, oh, baby!!!  We have Dad's Squash!!!!  Yummy stuff!!!

The rolls are ready to heat in the oven, the mashed potatoes are instant (less fuss, same taste!!!), the gravy is in a can (once again, less fuss!), get the cranberry sauce and jelly out of the cans, get "George" out of the roaster and let him sit for a while til his juices all settle.  Then we'll slice him up, get our plates, and dig in!!!!  Can't wait!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!!!  If you're going to be on the road, be careful!  Lots of weirdos and maniacs not paying attention out there.  Have a piece of pie for me!!!  (But not mincemeat - YUCK!)

Hey John thank you Lad I appreciate that . I do like the easy dishes the easier the better . The festivals sound good but I don't know about the oysters Ha . But now the Guinness ..... And yes don't wanna be over doing that !

Mykirbyroo that's funny diet scalloped corn !Lol  . Especially tomorrow HaHa . Your dinner sounds good . I am more of a meat n potato guy don't do but only a couple vegies and can you guess one of course is corn . My wife will make sweet potato's she also uses butter n brown sugar but puts marshmallows on top her n our daughter eat those . She also makes me a special dressing (not in turkey) n makes it with sausage and box dressing (she can make it year round) I love it with gravy on it (thru the year I use gravy in a jar) . Brother in law is making the turkey he does the brine thing always comes out good . My Mom actually mother in law but she is Mom to me will be making mashed potato's , gravy , rolls etc. n probably German Chocolate cake and a pie for me . I'm just a little spoiled ! Haha . And yes cranberry sauce from can is fine  with me . My Mom also makes these things called Kalasky's (ck on the spelling) I think its a Lithuanian dish . It's  pork inside a folded over noodle she makes from scratch bakes it n eat it with sour cream if you want . I don't do the sour cream but they are really good .

Those noodle/pork things your Mom makes, they sound like pierogies.  My sister used to make hundreds of them for the holidays!  Kind of like ravioli - noodle on the outside, filling on the inside.  They're all good!!!

No, it's definitely not me out there in SoCal.  I've been to California twice and don't care to go back.  Too much commotion for me.  I like my peace and quiet, and that's what I have out here in Nebraska.  Tomorrow Mike Riley (Cornhusker head coach) learns his fate.  I think he's gone.  Bad coach.  Terrible record here.  It's gonna be a blow out.  Iowa is gonna roll over Nebraska like a steam roller!!!!!
