I see- Yes, I /we do have an open wound huh!!  Does it go into/through the stoma? or just goes where (the infection) decides to attack?  Sound lousy.. I see many people having them in the past.  Well, I consider myself lucky when I got poison ivy under my wafer/barrier huh? 

I use only white wash cloths and bleach them after every use.. Yes, I can go trough many but I use sift tissues also-- but there are times////

C dif is transmitted via spore, basically it gets in and if you have immune wonk going on it can flourish in your large intestine. The course of treatment is vancomycin, you also are recommended to clean your home as deeply as you can. Wash clothing/ bedding in hot water, toss unwashable items, bleach hard surfaces. It's a terrible bother in nursing situations as it can be transmitted easily if hands are not washed thouroughly and isolation procedures are not followed.

I found that adding my liquid vancomycin to ginger ale in a shot glass and then tossing it down made it easier.

Well, congulations!!  You have a hot date!! Well, things are now moving along for you, and  u can plan your Thanksgiving meal before hand.. At lease u can enjoy the is holiday early as I don't think that you will be up to doing anything big Christmas..  You have forward notice now for that.. I know that you have your so called baskets ready--Now if your like me, you will go over over them again and again.. p.s. let me know what they do with the stoma, do they out a cone in and then a tube? a they cant use a pouch--always wondered about that wen they took my gull bladder out (with 2 surgeries w/cuttings)( and then 2 more down the to that area to pop more stones.. and place a tube in for drainage) ....... ya ask them.. and don't let anyone come in with gloves, have them out them on in front of you...

I'll ask Dr B about that when I see him Monday. Also plan to ask if they can use the nasty bits they cut out for teaching. Hate waste and if someone can learn something from the bits it would make me happy.

Definitely I keep an eye on folks and gloves/ hygiene. I felt wicked when verbally chased the Chaplin out of my room. Poor Father, he was momentarily confused until I told him I had C Dif and didn't want him to get it. I mark my water jug so I can be sure it is mine and not some other poor souls. 

Also, while C Dif is mainly a large intestine based infection you can catch it even if you don't have a large intestine anymore. It's a very serious bug, can cause a lot of damage.

Once you've had it, it is easier to get again.

No didn't forfit the game, Eric was to play with you- he was walking around with this huge fancy glass of V-8 on the rocks with this long stem of celery and he was eating the leaves telling people how good it for you.. So-he got side tracked.. I was in the bathroom tending to "Nellie"  Next time hang your coat and stay awhile.. Music starts at 8:00 p.m. every Friday and Saturday..

Well, Mr. T. if off on a long trip over seas.....  I saw on the late show with Steven Colbert last night, that he will go see the great wall-and they have W.H. aids ready to convince him that "NO You cant take it home"  :-)  

I am having so much fun at the lounge tonight!! I danced my heart away.. Sang a few tunes and almost got pick upped.. Then I figured out what was happening-So I called John.  He said that he was sleeping.. but will come to my aid if Robert couldn't come.. So I called Robert, He called Eric. Then Bubbles showed up and started to sing and dance- Mary was outside selling flowers, tripped over her pouch (she is so short) and cried for an hour in the fancy bathroom..  Bango came in to save the day-but he played the violin instead, witch didn't go with the jazz band at all!! Felicity came back in to show off her body paint,  witch got the guys I was having trouble with more excited and drunker (thank your very much Felicity) Then Mary came out of the fancy bathroom and she and Felicity danced with the those guys, I guess Eric called Tony and he came in -got things straightened out- Then we all had a great time again.. Until Grumpy John, Robert, Eric comes in and relizes that all is well at the lounge--And missed all the fun.. They didn't believe what happened--But we all told them THIS IS NOT FAKE NEWS!!!!!!!!!! Then Robert found the red checkers and played tidildy winks with them, Eric ate a plant, Tony E-mailed Barabra, and us ladies had a glass of wine, and well?---- You all just have to come on over to finish this evening.. AT THE LOUNGE......... :+)  .........

Drippy day in Cincinnati. Had a nice little breakfast of Jalepeno Mango sausage wrapped in a piece of naan. The kitties are singing the song of their people: I want a bite! I want a cuddle! I don't want a bite! Let me down!

Considering washing my hair and wandering off to get it mowed down. My mohawk is in severe need of a good trim. Want to get it done before I'm not in much shape to go and do it. Considering picking up some color for it too. Been a while since I've dyed it. Highlighter pink is my favorite hair color but purple would mean I don't need to bleach it out.
