I just got an e-mail from her.........she is home........on meds...sorta out of it now-but will get in touch w/us when she is better.  Told her to have a friend or/AND her son to come and sit with her. she is a bit scared with these feelings right now.. She had a long hard time the past 2 weeks.. M.

It's not a problem at all to reply to separate topics, but it may be easier when you're in a single topic to reply to multiple people at once so it doesn't create more than one post per reply (leading to those multiple notifications).

As an example, the three replies to Barbara, John, and "z" above could go into one single reply so that everyone gets a single notification instead of three.

Some forums (not this one) will actually restrict you from posting more than once in a set amount of time to prevent "forum-spam". I don't have any plans to implement that here, but it does go to show that this is a challenge that nearly all forums have.  :-) 

Changing the subject,  I just made a big thick soup.  I took 7 assorted  cans of vegetables dumped them in a big pot, added potatoes and onions and a bag of frozen vegetables and let it cook.

Then i added onion soup mix, salt and garlic powder for flavors. Put in a little cream of wheat and a cup of rice. 

It began to bubble so i lowered the flame and stirred a lot. After it was cooked, (the potatoes ), I took our immersion blender and 1/2 blended it.

Turned off the fire, and after it cooled off. poured it into containers for the freezer. One bowl was consumed by me

It was good. I think Eric would enjoy it , too as it is vegan.

This is a stick to your ribs satisfying soup.

I pulled a real blunder today-- On my way out to infusion, I managed to get my big SUV in the front yard :-) not the driveway (boy was I way off) Got stuck real bad in much snow and the plowing on top of that.. -how I managed that I don't know.. But boy is Tom SO mad at me.. STILL !!!!! Why do u men get so mad at things like this anyways?? When I figured out I was not going any place--I honked the horn, nothing, pushed the button to open the garage so Tom would hear that -- nothing.. So I called Tom on phone.. e was on the  phone, So I called Matt a in the house.. HE came out then Tom.. I got-The stupid question: "Why did u do that Marcie"????? :-0.  So as the suv was in the front lawn, I took the other car...... Then when I got OUT of infusion, My car was gone.. I wandered all around looking for it.. Called the police,, As I am at then, near Rt. 91- I told them my suv could be in New Hampshire by now.. Tears..  YUP !! I forgot I took the other car............ :-) Tom doesn't know this  part-- maybe this Summer????
