Part of using this type bottle is increasing the pressure when squeezed harder to somewhat acting like hose. Another is to remove the output around stoma. When I direct the nozzle to different parts of the pouch it’s like having a fresh pouch again by using this method,I then will  the reapply the oil again.

When directing the flow of water at the stoma will at times stimulate more output.

Ya, but they make it so convincing that you think you'll die if you don't consent. And as little as I know they could probably scare the bejeebers out of me.  Oh and by the way, this is me in procrastination mode.

Water is in place along with emergency towels etc in case Stella sounds off. Like youg . , now pills, shoot up with insulin and try to sleep. You are right about staying off for the rest of the night before this becomes an obsession

I too rinse every time I empty my pouch and I have never had an issue of any kind.

I rinse until it is clean.  I use tape water with a bit of mouth wash for oder protection.  I have been doing this since my surgery 14 months ago.

Hi Robert. Your welcome. My nurse at the hospital told me about using it and in fact she always used it when she showed me how to look after “Sammy”
