Is this just a bag with no flange in this setup?

Nope this is a two piece hollister, the plate ring goes around the flange ring keeping it in place. Check out Erics video reviews to see these 2 seperate products in action..Nu Comfort belt and Stomadome! 

@veganostomyWould this be used biking? I can’t bike because my thigh hits stoma and have ended up really injuring it without realizing. It doesn’t help that I have a hernia behind it. 

  Looks like a good idea to me!  As far as wearing it for biking, I think its as good as it should be & should stay in place depending on snugness & slipping.  We all want to avoid damaging the stoma & the connection to the abdominal wall.  l think this should work in that area.  Though I have to wonder if something a little larger ,& maybe longer would be needed for biking to prevent knees hitting your stoma or from a fall. It would be worth it to see what sizes are available & maybe give it a try in combo with a wrap.  My Dad used to wear a kidney belt for motocross races, it never slipped. The elastic for that was much wider & secured with velcro.  Anyone who sews could make that adjustment. Who knows, maybe under  motorcycle racing equipment you may find something for Ostomates.
