@bigmike322 Very nice. I wonder which company will be the dominant one in the upcoming years. It's going to be confusing for regular folks to even know that they are different, considering the names both have "Stealth" in them.

I've been wearing my stealth ostomy wear belt by stlesth medical (Richard's new company).  I have to say this is my new favorite. Definitely better than the current stealth belts.  It feels better, sturdier, and even the zipper is smaller so it can't stab me.

Stealth Ostomy Wear is having a 25% off Mother's Day Sale if you buy more than 2.  I just saved $112. Looking forward to trying the vertical belt.  IMO these are better than the current Stealth Belts. (Last ones I ordered were in September.  I rank them

1.  Stealth Ostomy Wear.

2.  Original Stealth Belt pre Fall of 2024

3.  Current Stealth Belt.

I still wear them all but I can notice a difference in fit and comfort.  Hopefully Richard makes a new swim version.  Thay was my favorite of the original belts.

Looking forward to trying the vertical belt.

Let us know how it goes! I've been wearing my vertical belt quite often, and I think it offers a nice balance for those who want to keep their appliance in a more traditional orientation.

I placed my order May 12th and it arrived today.  Although I didn't check my mail Saturday.  Richard is on it!

Hello,

I wrote to customer service this Sunday, May 1st, to raise my concerns about ordering from Stealth Belt after seeing the negative online reviews regarding delivery times and return issues. I received a reassuring message today, May 2nd, early in the afternoon from Alicia in customer service stating that the deadlines are being met. It seems that the dark period is probably over.

@titepoulette Thank you for letting us know. I think the consensus is that things are back to operating as usual. Hopefully, they can earn trust back and rebuild customer confidence.

@idishler hello from Canada, I've been a Stealth Belt customer for 9 years and just realized there appear to be two Stealth Belt companies and came across your post.  I need to order a new belt, would you recommend the "new company" run by Richard?  I want to ensure the quality, fit and materials are the same as my previous belts  Thanks so much

@haroldd Welcome, Harold. If I needed to purchase a new belt, I'd more than likely go with Richard's company: https://stealthostomywear.com/

At the very least, we'd be getting the belt that we know and love, but it sounds like improvements have been made along the way. But as far as who I would do business with, my gut (no pun intended) says to go with Richard regardless.

Go with Richard.  He has already updated his belt with new material.  He ships quick and I was surprised how fast they have arrived being that they ship from Hawaii.  Richard calls and leaves a voicemail himself when he ships.  A+ Customer service.  Although he hasn't made a swim belt yet, but he told me that plans to.

So due to legal issues, Richard has to temporarily pause operations.  Pretty crappy deal considering he invented the stealth belt and started both companies.  He has a go fund me with the information.

I have 3 horizontal belts and one vertical from his current company and imo they are sturdier, more secure, and more comfortable.  The first one uses different material, because he updated the design but all are very good.  The zippers are smaller and shaped better so they don't stab you.

I did buy anew swimmer belt over rhe summer from stealth belt and it was very good.  No complaints.

@bigmike322 Hey Mike,

thanks for the reply, wow that’s unfortunate. I’m glad to know the quality is great with these new ones though. Hopefully he’ll be back up and running soon!
take care,

Scott

@bigmike322 Thanks for sharing that, Mike. It's terrible that Richard is going through that, but he's resilient, and I know he'll come back stronger.
