Hey Shawne,

Welcome to the forums.

They used to have one supplier in Canada, but I can't for the life of me find out who it was or whether they still carry their products.

I'd suggest contacting them directly to find out.

Any reason why you're looking for that specific product?

Yes I think CanMed use to carry them.  Was using hollister and was really itchy but I have unfortunately that type of skin no longer able to use Convatec due to tape causing rash.  Not much left after cutting it off to attach paper tape they do not make without tape.   Tried hollister same thing allunder the wafer same with Coloplast and can not use wafer extenders.   Am trying salts product so far so good but found their rings do not hold up. Was mentioned on Inspire that a lot of people use this product so trying to find in Canada.  Thanks for your reply.

Did you try the Coloplast Protective Rings (not their moldable rings)?  It's far more durable than most barrier rings and shouldn't melt as easily. Those are available in Canada - I think we were one of the first to get it, actually.

Did try these and found too much residue left behind and cannot use adhesive remover or my skin burns  from it.  Still on prednisone so skin is somewhat thinner than normal.  Thanks for the reply.  Was in touch with Can Med Direct they know of no supplier for perfect Choice in Canada.

That's frustrating.

Hit up some of the companies on this list for samples, but make sure to ask if their products are sold in Canada: https://www.veganostomy.ca/ostomy-suppliers-free-samples/

Try NI Hope- pouches.. the barrier is great for the break out of skin-pouches are horrible-but if in need these are a help-- very tacky-so be carfil when handeling--

Thanks for your reply I think you are talking about Nu Hope products have tried then not worth the stress of trying to put on without a wrinkle.  Am happy so far with the Salts product cannot use any thing with tape just looking for a better moldable ring if I use calamine first not too bad but would like to keep the use of products to a minimum.

Great find! I would have never expected them to sell other products, let alone a brand that's hard to get in Canada!

Good luck!

Hello,  I am happy to have Eric help me join this forum...  Had my ostomy surgery 7 weeks ago and feel like a lost sheep in the wilderness.  Not sure if I put this in the correct place..  but was wondering how many others have a "NOT ROUND" stoma?  Mine isn't square or oblong its been difficult to size.

Thanks

Mary
