I am using the convatec natura durahesive moldable skin barrier (urostomy) cant understand why the adhesive breaks down after two days and the smell is unbearable. I've tried m9 drops but this does not help.

Generally speaking, from my experience, moldable wafers simply aren't as durable as standard wafers. The Hollister moldable wafers were even worse for me, but Hollister's standard wafers can last 10+ days!

With a urostomy, the liquid output will break down wafers faster than output from a colostomy, for instance. But still, you should still expect to get more than two days.

Have you been able to contact Convatec to discuss this? Perhaps they have a better solution.

Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
