But "Z" and John, Does food stay longer in us if we eat alot?  Not suppost to.. I do empty much-- LOTS AND LOTS !!  liquids, and thicker.. Even cut down my meds. during eating the upper GI gave me to keep food in longer so I can digest it for health-- MAYBE my infusions are slushing me out to much?? My kidneys are back to normal-- they did heal themselves. That Dr. said I don't have to see him anymore unless My primary dr. sees something in my weekly blood work.. Well, guess that I am just "me" now, never was on the chubby side as I carried my 167 pounds well- that was over 3 years ago-- I am not getting that scale anymore--   Maybe I should get on a loose weight diet.. :-)  I know Bailey cream for after meals??? GOt milk in it so that will go through fast. Ehhh? drink it during the day.. :-) haha..

Maybe I do to much around the house?  When ever I am in the hospital, I gain 10 pounds and trust me it is NOT the food!! But that 10# go fast within 5 -10 days..

"Z" codeine make my stomach upset.. well, the liquid did a while back.. (when we came home from our honey moon at St. Thomas, I got a bad tooth issue-and when I got home I had a few surgeries on it.. lost it anyways-- He should have just ditched me then huh?) Do you get tired? with this?? I remember something of this spoken to me..  Gonna check it out...  So if  I fly a bit? Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... Tom can drive me to Club MEd, (infusion) with his one eye.. :-) They also spoke of steroids...... But I THINK that is for some serious problems..  have rejected this-- Want to do it myself--no working..  

When people gain weight on steroids, do they loose it? OR just get a chipmunk face?  for ever?? That is used for cancer problems yes?

You know that machine you get at the fun fare, we call it the "Penny Falls" drop a coin in hits a shelf pushes another coin etc, well I think of eating in that way. to many coins in at a time and their will be a crash.

Marcie,  I was just making a possible suggestion. If you don't want to try it, I am fine. It's just that you got us worried and I am trying to find an alternative to your situation. It's like you're in overdrive. 

Can you get mariuna (sp) in your area?

It might help you to slow down.

Maybe maybe Z n John both have a good idea .  Maybe slow down on eating to much at one time n slow down around the house . I think you were telling Barbara before about the MM maybe it's worth a shot definitely not as harsh as some prescription meds .  Maybe you are burning up all the calories as fast as you put them in . I am feeling better but sorry to hear you are not feeling good now . And sorry to hear about your blowout I'm sure it was not a fun thing to go threw . I have been lucky n haven't had one in public yet but I still hate to think of that happening to you . Do you take any kind of supplements or vitamins ?

I hate the thought of opoin-sp- = abuse- I was on many those of this kind of medicine after my 2 months coma, as the pain was so bad, and they could not operate because they were trying to get my internal bleeding-infections of bile back up and viral penunonia under control- and c-diff, also I had to have a trek put in for breathing (as of my death) during my comma, I was to weak to surive any operation.. Dr. (the) told Tom that I may not be the same as of this and along with the fact that I may be come dependant on them after. (as Tom did ask this question) they (Dr_ aid that they have in/out patient for this later on.. (never mind the fact of a long comma)Well, I am not dependant and nothing happened.. But, if I should go back to such meds, my mind may remember these meds.  When I had my exploded infected Full Bladder last year, (that was a real mess)  I did not receive much pain medications for this after the 3 operations for this..  (was not fun!!) M.M has crossed my mind tho-- But again afraid, I may do a reversal affect on it.. Worth a shot--heck at my age?? who give a hoot??? AS any med's, I ask for a low does and work with it and if needed work myself up-- It is time.. for something..

John, I do eat more than my grown son's do- but don't cram it in to speak.. I am now finding that even a glass of water makes me feel full- YEs, Nellie sang all through grace on Thanksgiving.. But truly, I don't think a holiday is a reason to pig out.. that is just stupid for anyone.. IT is a gathering of a nice holiday... What I have been doing is, eating more cakes, breads, pies, etc. added to my diet.. Just surprised that no weight gained with this.. As it sure did before I got sick!! I am 5' 8" - - From 167 pounds to 130 to 112 now- I just don't understand it???? Yes I am fast going person-- a blurr.... but, I have many days at a time of just staying in bed and enjoying that--and still loose weight...... I like a clear mind........ M.M. may be the answer to slow me down- may slow my out put.. Dr. GI has tried everything else.. M.M. to my knowledge is for pain.. ONLY.......... And I see others that it really works..Never did that stuff. All the Doctors say that I am NOT text book!!!!  (no one in our situation really is) I should not even be alive.. But my bones tell them another story huh?  I am back with full mind..... and bitching.........  :-) Defentatly not build like a Swedish gal!!  Got the height, coloring, medium build, but, my dear mom was a tiny one.. Next time I get on the scale at Club Med this Friday-I want the S.S. Minnow boat anchor :=) remember that show G. island???

After I eat, I have to walk around- to get thing in proper order and not get stuck--So that is where the house work comes in-- maybe I should just polish my sliver for Christmas-It needs it.. That is a sorta a sit down (necessary) job.. This has been happening on and off after my Gull Bladder operation-- Feels like they put a netting/mesh in there.. tight.. Just over a year now-and I would think things should calm down by now-- 

Anyone have a mesh put in during an operation?????? If so, how does it feel like? thanks.

I it would be a good idea to have the car with you when you go to club med just in case . The Uber thing I hear is not cheap but I've never tried it . As for the  MM I did some in my younger days but don't do it know but I have read a little about it and I know some people who do use it for different reasons n they swear by it . And yes it can be for pain but supposedly it can do a lot of other things also . Try n Google it . I think it might be better than all the chemicals we get in our prescriptions . I don't mean to sound like an advocate for it . Its just a suggestion n of course your choice .  How about pasta people say that has a lot of carbs n can make a person add weight . Do you eat much pasta ? Still eating the ice cream ? I am no Doctor but how about your thyroid has that been checked ?

I eat much pasta.. and my thyroid is perfect-on meds with that as after my surgery everything went hay wire.. Including my mind but got that taken care of-- Number one med. for me or anyone that is with mind stress-then I was able to get hold of myself and accept, and sleep, and be me again--

Just had another blood work done last month as I was in the to the Dr. "why cant I gain weight?"  nothing wrong here they say.... Got a call into my GI now.. IF I didn't have insurance? forget the Doctors.. !!!!!!!! But I mostly deicide on what meds. they put me on--I ASK QUESTIONS !!!!!!!!! 

WOW!!!! got an appointment Dec. 6th !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with my upper GI.... NEVER have I been able to get in there on short notice... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now on hold with the surgeon that took out my GUllBlader-feeling to tight.. see if there is a mesh in.. MARCIE IS ON A ROLL !!!!!!

SPoke to Dr. of the gull bladder- no mesh-they only do that for hernia repairs.... Just heavy scare tissue as they had to open me up so many times and can feel this tightness for years and years.. : -)------ so that is it-- and so be it.......... "

If the Upper GI says those two words that I wont like at all- the begin with the letter  "T" Time and "Tests".. well that bucket will be kicked over..  DId all the tests inside and out a year ago and Time? I think I have given this TIME !!! 3 years worth-no one will hear me..  

Anyone out there CANT gain weight ????? after colon loss?  My out put (deposits) is/are better.. Not 20 times a day-- that was awful------- about 10- if I drink much h2O then more...

My family Dr insisted I get the flu and pneumovax before surgery. He said even immuno depressed he'd prefer me to have them.

Same here...... Both shots..They can fight an infection better knowing that we are well cared for and what is what.  As I have had peunomina 3 times now-What do they expect me to do?  Just lay here and take it by the horns again? Nope-any help if fine with me.. No more hospitals!! Got a year anniversary coming up Christmas week- ONE YEAR with NO LONG stays of hospitalizations. YAAA! Got my heals dug in deep in the cement  as we speak.. 

Now take care of the weibble wabbler..(and don't fall down) remember those toys? :-)

Different Doctors sure think different mine wanted me to have the flu shot but not till after surgery go figure . Had pneumonia 3 times also been getting both shots for a few years now . Funny part is I never had them in my life before that and I rarely got sick .
