I need a fast answer: what size should the protective sheet be? Can it be a little smaller than the wafer?

thanks

I used a protective sheet under my wafer a couple times. The wafer is sort of oval shaped. The protective sheet was completely under the wafer on the sides and stuck out on the top and bottom. It seemed to work fine. 👍

Generally speaking, you can have it as large or as small as you need, but some brands are thicker than others so having just a section under your wafer will leave a gap under the wafer.

What product are you using and what's your goal?
