i posted a few weeks ago about allergy to wafer have found new product that at present is working it is a Salts one piece convex no Aleo Vera that one caused problems.  The samples were great inspection window nice and see through for placement which was important to me as I only used two piece in past.  Bought two boxes and these are not so good plastic is thicker not see through it is a guessing game called them and they have changed manufacturers.. anyone have tips on how to place without much visual have wasted one already.  Can not see the edges of stoma so unsure if there is enough room for the stoma to swell.  Thanks for any advise.

Hi Shawne, really glad to hear you have got that wafer problem sorted out. If this is any help go to "Tips and Tricks" look for a post "Switching to a one piece" their where a few folk who where using what they called the "Taco trick" to put on a one piece. May be useful. good photo as well

Before I stick any wafer to my skin, I will always do a "dry one" and place it over my stoma without removing the release liner.

That way I can recut it larger if I need to.

I use a precut so that is not the problem I just am guessing that the placement is on the skin and not on top of the stoma once it hits that moldable ring there is no way it can be adjusted and because the inspection window is fuzzy even when on you just see a bit of red and not the whole picture. It is a convex so the taco method is not a whole lot of help. Wish there was a template to mark the skin before hand hey maybe I can draw it out a bit on top and match it up usinga clean one after cutting off the bag portion might give that a try just use a little pencil mark or piece of paper tape at the top once it matches that the rest should be in the right spot I think🤔

Shawne, I put the seal ring ON the wafer cut out and eye ball the opening/also with the film that covers the wafer piror-make adjustments-(I have a inch pre cut and I shape the seal rings to the dip extended part of my stoma- heat it up and snuggle it firmly-starting from the bottom..

Remember, your left is your right and your right is your left.. Follow your removed pealed film for guidance.. My stoma is a drifter to my right-Most seal form into/with the stoma, Eric Is testing some and also has a blog on them-Remember, what works with some people, wont work for you-so his education is worth while checking out.. DONT BE AFRAID of your stoma, things will work out... thrust me.............

Also, what I do that some people like-and I LOVE- for an extra convetx, I cut the seal in half, press it round the cut opening -like a pie crust, (I for me anyways, if I put the whole seal right on, I received much irrations/bumps/rash/ on that area) Not any more after I found this way 2 years ago-- This also helps any cutting of the wafer near stoma and makes a nice fit.. It is a pillow affect and extra convetx-if needed-- Instead of going into a deep convetx, which makes things worse-and I don't NEED a deep convetx. just a light convetx. good luck.......
