Ulcerative Colitis (1995) Just throwing in my two cents for what it's worth. I tend to be like Linda - a little on the reserved side when it comes to dressing with an ostomy. You'll never see me in a bikini!😂 Wraps do help for sure. I usually tuck my shirts in my jeans and wear a loose hanging and opened sweater or shirt on top of that. I am no fashion plate as I have dressed this way since High School when jeans and flannel shirts were the mode. (Back in the 70s, that is!)☮️ Stella My ostomy is pretty close to my belt line. I have not been able to find a way to comfortably tuck my shirts since my surgery. I've had to entirely rethink the way I dress, as I used to very often wear dress shirts tucked into slacks before my surgery. I now still like to wear slacks, but I mostly wear nice polo shirts or Henleys and leave them untucked. I wear undershirts (for comfort and insulation when cold) with a hole cut in them to pull the bag through, then I tuck the undershirt. Then I wear the bag on the outside of my pants with a wrap to conceal everything. I like how it feels. Funny how we adapt to our new situation. Ulcerative Colitis (1995) Hi Glenn, As women osomates, we do have more options out there for clothing then men. On my dressier days, I tend to wear long tunics over black jeans, which hides the obvious nicely. I've been trying to get my husband to wear his polos casually, over his pants, but it's a lost cause!😂 Stella @glenn-giroir...Glen...did you say Galaxy?? By chance, does it glo in the dark?? If so, I'm up for a roll myself!! lol! I actually recently found quilting fabric that has glo in the dark planets & stars on it! I'm a huge fan of our night sky!! Persiod Meteor showers are awesome when the whether is good. I have thought several times of making a lacey cover for when I'm wearing a dress or nightgown but finding glo in the dark fabrics, ugh... so cool for night time. You see, my ROSE has her own creative & imaginary side so why not indulge her occasionally!! She does think she's a princess & needs catering too after all!! Linda
