Wow, has a year gone by already?? This year’s GUTSY Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is right around the corner, and I’m grateful to be able to take part this year! 

Last year, my daughter and I did the 5 km walk for the first time since my diagnosis in 2008.  It was because of my ostomy that I was able to attend, and it’s because of my ostomy that I’ll be able to return, and I’m thankful for all the support we received!  We raised a combined total of over $1500 and ended up being in the Top 10 for Durham Region

On Sunday, June 7th, 2015, I’ll be walking in the Durham Region GUTSY Walk and would be so grateful for any donations to help support this cause. Please remember that Inflammatory Bowel Disease has no cure, and Crohn’s Disease is still something I have, despite my surgeries.
