October 6, 2018 – Happy World Ostomy Day! The theme this year is, “Speaking out changes lives”, and boy does it ever!
Back in June, I was invited to be on a panel for Shield HealthCare to discuss ostomy life. But I also had a chance to sit with one of my heroes for an interview.
June 2018 – I was invited to speak on a panel discussion at the WOCN Conference and it was amazing!
May 11th, 2018 – I visited Saskatchewan for the time first in my life last week!
April 2018 – I had the opportunity to experience my second HealtheVoices conference and I’m excited to share those moments with you.
It’s pretty much tradition that I highlight some of the standout moments of the year, so without further adieu, here’s what 2017 looked like!
I had the pleasure of visiting Orlando, Florida for both AIBD 2017 and the IBD Social Circle Summit.
October 24th isn’t a day I tend to celebrate as it marks the day I received my diagnosis for Crohn’s Disease back in 2008.
October 7th, 2017 – It’s another World Ostomy Day, and this year I’d like to discuss the truth about having an ostomy and ways to reach acceptance.
