Dec 2016 – I was invited to spend a few days in Orlando, Florida to attend both the AIBD conference and the IBD Social Circle Summit with other IBD advocates.
I had the honor and privilege of being invited to speak at an ostomy education event in Vancouver, BC for World Ostomy Day this past October 1st, 2016.

I’m so excited to announce that I’ve been invited to speak at an ostomy education event this October 1st, 2016!
It’s hard to believe, but three years ago today (on August 21, 2013) I had my ostomy surgery done.
Wow, has it really been three years since I wrote my first glow post introducing the world to this site?
August 7th, 2013 is when I started this blog, and I have no plans to slow down anytime soon!
