Yup they are. You asked why he didn't use them sooner. Found out it was because the c-diff had not been killed off yet. And if theprobably would not have helped. You needed to wait until that was clear and then he would know how much pain is left over and whether or not it was paying that have been caused by the seat it or pain being caused by something else. And at that point it was when they decided that I have irritable bowel syndrome. The drugs are still working very well and I've got about 12 days to fly out in 14 days I think maybe and after that I should be good to go without them. I'm still very tired but that's to be expected after two weeks in that joint. So I think I'll go to bed early tonight and see if I can get some sleep tonight. Should be able to sleep better in my own bed then I was in the hospital. I will wear my CPAP for sure and I know that will help too

Wow I just reread that posting. I think you can tell from that that the drugs are working. My brain seems to have a minor short circuit somewhere and that's pretty common with the drugs. So if you have any questions drop me a note and I'll see if I can explain what I really said have a good night everybody talk to you tomorrow

All I can say is AHHH!!  Slept in my own bed last night.  Best sleep in a long time. It is soooooo good to be back in my cozy little sanctuary with no one sticking things in my body, or tubing to get tangled up in.  Even Stella seemed to like it, only up once to pre and she stayed sound asleep. It's so  amazing to me how much I take for granted the simple things I am blessed with until they are taken away.

I have a bad case of sleep apnea. That means that I will wake up because I'm not breathing every once in awhile at night. The CPAP is the machine that pumps air Under Pressure into my mouth and nose and into my lungs. That keeps me breathing properly. I wear a mask that looks like I'm about ready to fly off an aircraft carrier and bomb some island in the Pacific. Quite hilarious looking actually.

Thanks for the well wishes. I do appreciate them. I'm not planning on having any relapses in there but I don't seem to be in control of that something else you. So I'll just keep doing what I'm supposed to be there and see if it came home where I belong.

Thanks Robert. About 5 years ago they diagnosed me with very serious sleep apnea. When they did all the lung tests they found I had a lung capacity of 2.1 liters...not good for me.  I was fanatical about using the cpap machine. After 5 yrs of being extremely compliant I am up to 3.2 liters which is nearly 100% for me.  I was lucky I took to my cpap like a duck to water and slept all night for the first time in years when they hooked me up.  At one point I had to wear an eye patch on my left eye. After I put the mask on I looked like a pirate fighter pilot.

Barbara that's great that it is actually helping you . That's quite an improvement and you got used to it so easily I just couldn't do it . I would get it on then my wife would say something to me and I would try to talk and then it would act up and kinda like suck in and then I couldn't breath I finally told her once I get it on don't talk to me or make me laugh . Lol . I'll bet you were quite a site with the mask and an eye patch . Haha
