I'm about to sample the Coloplast Mio to see if it will solve my problem of the wafer peeling off.

The factory rep said that I am not to use powder or skin barrier film with this new formulated wafer.

Any thoughts or comments.

P.S. Eric has an excellent video on this product.

DONT use them- Just clean the area with plain water and let dry and your off! IF u do use something to take off the paste or what ever-clean it off-If u do use any even their products, a lift may happen- THis is a new design helping people that cant use these products. I use these-sometimes I get an itch and it goes away--

I'm baaaaccccckkkkk!  Sorry for rushing in and flopping down with my feet up on the table. Today's been one of those days. I had to dig way back in the very dark back dregs of my closet and haul out my old school uni so that I could go back to school today. And if you don't think that was funny looking a 68 year old and a spool unit. Gave people actually good laughs. Went back to diabetes education. The only education I ever got on Diabetes was when I was originally diagnosed when I was 40 years old and was a type 1 so that's been a while back and it seems like things have changed a lot. I was glad I went I learned a whole lot about new ways to do things that may make it a whole lot easier for me to try to keep the glucose under control. I've been finding it hard to keep up with the glucose numbers and keep up with all of this stuff for the ostomy and the IBS and everything else I've just been trying to get everything organized but the trainer that I went to today was very very good up on everything. I'm even considering going on an insulin pump rather than taking insulin injections. I went straight to insulin back in 1990 when I was diagnosed and it turned out it was because at that age I became a type one. Type one is usually considered juvenile diabetes and it's what you come down with when your kid. But with my auto immune system being away on leave of absence  my pancreas decided to attack my body and kill off the stuff that makes insulin so I don't have any insulin of my own  and have to fill myself up with it manually. But the idea of an insulin pump is so much better control over my numbers and so much easier to do and I'm not continually sticking myself with a needle. So I'm thinking that this is going to be a good idea and I'm going to pursue it I think that when I get something like that working and pull those numbers and it helps IBS and stuff that's going on with my ostomy and I think I'm just going to get better control and  generally feel better. As I think about 2017, it has been a year for me that has brought more change than I have experienced.   The idea of a Denny's Grand Slam sounds really good right now I haven't eaten all day which as we all know is not a good thing to do rather foolish actually. But here I am hungry enough to hooverize the refrigerator.  So let's head out for Denny's andgraze for a while.6

Well, glad your back in class--you can relate to people with your RA, most of here cant-Yes, I agree getting one think under control can help ease other managements of the others.  THis is why I went to 2 other Doctors, there has to be something different that just my dehydration going on and I have to learn those systems and menatly  just my mind to them instead of craming them in all together-- Heart is great!! yaa. but got copd, so- I have made the adjustments with that..makes me feel that I can deleat my infusions (ClubMed) visits ????-try that in a few months see how it goes--  All this time, Dr.'s knew of my copd-never told me-now I know-and when I get tired, I know it is because I did to  much and it is my copd. not SO emergency wise dehydrated like I thought. It is a good thing Barb. Such an ease to ones mind--- Try the pump!!! Less worries.. And u have new friends...with RA........ common issues, unfortuanly as so many have this horrible deiease, but you have a group of others to chat with.. must be nice-- happy for you!!!!!!!! Now get your feet off Felicitys chair!!!  THat is for her when she comes home from the hospital!!!! I want it nice and clean for her...  She can sit on the floor when she is able to use ALL of her mussels properly again..  that o.k. with u Fleicity? THe floor later-- we don't want to get hurnias -sp- pulling u up off the floor--

We were both away at school and both lived in apartments where we did our own cooking).  I was lucky and had a car. My roommate was from the same town as he was (no car for him). At  the beginning of the year before class started my room mate talked me into taking him grocery shopping.  It took us 4 hours to do it, we were laughing and had so much fun getting things done that we just  clicked. There is a canyon that goes East out of Provo Utah, and goes to a place called "Sundance" (yup, where Robert Redford lives [or usedto] and holds the Subndance Film Festival)  we would go downtown and rent little Honda motorcycles and go cruising up the canyon. Very sweet and fun times that sealed the deal for us.

We drove around alot- and one time we went "spooning/necking'"  at Powder Hollow" here in Ct. (where they made the bullets during the civil war.  One night-well, this cop come up and checks us out-and said"you 2 have to come on out of here now" so we got (walked) out of the car and sat in his curser in the back seat..  WOW was he scared!! Said "I mean You 2 drive out of here in YOUR car!!"

We were just sitting there ready to go to jail...

Don't know where to put this-- but just a reminder:

The start of the NEW YEAR, When you order your supplies at least in USA, you have to have your Dr. send a notice to YOUR SUPPLIER to let them know that your STILL an Ostomate and STILL in need of your supplies. They don't tell u this until it is to late, This can take a matter of weeks to get through..  I got hit last year in Dec. and almost ran out of supplies.  AS it is the holidays this keeps the Dr.'s office busy and a delay can/will happen..  Some patients get reversals, and don't need supplies then keep getting them and sell them- This is the reason for this. :-}{........ Marcie.......... Talk about black Fridays huh?

Sweet Barb. The good old days huh?

As of my above, powder hollow made the powder for the wepons,  not the bullets.. :-)  THe town is called Hazardville, Ct. I lived there as of 1957-1970 .. kinda of a big hole - we used to play base ball down there.. A river flows through, nice hiking now.. No more kissing tho..

Yep Mary it sounds like that, plus when we have a special dinner coming up we tend to save ourselves for the big event. I once heard the slowest reaction in our bodies is the tummy telling the brain its full. That's why when we over eat its a bit later we seem to regret.

Maybe Christmas????????????????????? getting a bit of a gut on me.. I need it on my dandy fanny-- face- well-everywhere! Been baking to many home made cakes, pie, breads, and eating away and I get it in my GUT!! At my age, ??? everything just fell down and went boom! to fast-rude awaking..... Just weight myself- 114 ponds.. :-( -the past 3 years I have manged to loose 4 pounds and stay there then another 4 pounds and again so that is 12 pounds extra of the lost 55 pounds when I came home.. AND- in 3 years eating like there is no tomorrow!! Well, I am eating--well, give Nellie a break now huh?  :-)  Had many  tests done, all is fine..  I think that it is the fluids I cant keep in..........Maybe try no infusions for a week AFTER the holidays (no ER during them) and see what happens. ? then back into the hospital again for 2-3 weeks with kidney failure again right?? keep my chin up--
