If this isn't boredom, I don't know what is. Hi from my Holy Family Hospital bed. Here's a little update. The docs are tip toeing around diagnosing IBS. They have to rule out everything else first and if the symptoms are still there then it is IBS. They are continuing vancomycin (sp?), discontinuing flagil and creating some exotic blend of other meds, one of which attacks pain at nerve level (a non-narcotic pain med for abdominal pain.) So in the meantime here I sit in quarantine. So no home in the near future. Severe rheumatoid arthritis, spondoloarthropy, polymyalgia rhumatica, type 1 diabetic, IBS and finally, emergency diverticulitis surgery, colon removed Stella born Jan. 27, 2017. 6 bouts of c-diff, failed fecal transplant. Complete colonectomy and ileostomy July 30, 2018. ENOUGH!! Barbara I remember yes it is about as boring as it can be . They probably wont let you walk around much will they ? That's the only thing that saved me was walking around . Do you at least have a window ? Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis You're absolutely right they won't let me set foot outside my door. I am still in quarantine and so I stay here in my room. Luckily I do have a nice window and it has sort of them here but still boring just to sit here doing nothing and the walk only walking around I can do is get up and walk around in circles in the room and then they think I'm crazy and talk about sending me this I don't think I'm going to do that Severe rheumatoid arthritis, spondoloarthropy, polymyalgia rhumatica, type 1 diabetic, IBS and finally, emergency diverticulitis surgery, colon removed Stella born Jan. 27, 2017. 6 bouts of c-diff, failed fecal transplant.
