Saw the Oncology Gynocologist who will be working w my GI Surgeon today. During the exam she found my left ovary to be larger than my right, it's closer to my uterus than the right one and misshapen. She suspects it has adhesions attaching it and the uterus since she could feel them so close. Possibly also some past fistula activity from bowel to ovary that got encapsulated.

Plan at this time is certainly the left ovary, possibly the uterus and retaining the right ovary as long as no disease seems present there. I want to avoid surgical menopause/ supplemental hormones if possible. She does not expect there to be a lot of change with the orientation of my vaginal canal due to my general size, I am apparently petite inside. Proctocolectomy in women can cause tilting of female internal anatomy.

Next Dr is the Urologist to check the left kidney.
