I've also had problems with pelvic floor dysfunction. My surgeon told me that the rectum takes up a lot of room, so when it's removed, well, everything can stretch and move to fill the space. I believe it, as my body shape has changed dramatically. I was referred to a physical therapist that specializes in pelvic floor issues. I learned a lot, and I'm pretty consistent with all the exercises.  They've helped, but things still aren't perfect.  I worry about getting older....

I have some exercises the physical therapist gave me to do,  but the fracture in my sacrum is causing some pain so I am going to take it easy until that feels better. And I am wondering if the “ child sit” yoga exercise might have created the fracture in bones that were already weakened from radiation. I can see how as time goes by this pelvic floor muscle thing can get worse, so I am keeping up doing what I can with the other exercises (but carefully). Best of everything to you, BoCo. LL

I love the smell of coffee in the morning. It smells like .... victory.
