Robert, do u clean the house, bake, cook, send out the cards, decorate the tree, plan the meals, try to look nice, make sure the bathrooms are clean for pop in company, shop for gifts, wrap the gifts, and PLAN EVERYTHING? , keep that smile during the holidays ????????????? Easier now as the sons are in their 40's now-MONEY--and--- that 6'6" jobber, buying a shirt for him is expensive and I want good quality.. for the money---------

Marcie actually I do clean the house n the bathrooms I do laundry I iron . I do a little cooking and even a little baking I can make a pretty good pineapple upside down cupcake n some pretty good artisan bread from scratch . I do try to look nice too :-) LOL . I paint I do windows we live in a 2 story so that's definitely my job I repair things . I put Xmas decorations up outside my wife Norma (no correlation with my Norman haha) does all the inside . We also do what we can at my Moms house . It all keeps me busy . And I know what you mean about your son and shirts our daughter is 30 and nothing seems to have changed with age . Ha . Its ok though . I'm not much of a shopper except for groceries .

That woman Santa sure has a lot of facial hair ??????? :-)

O.K. your a good man!!  ROBERT IS SANTA CLAUSE !!!!for me? I like to give--and, I just remember when the kids were young-- But married to an Nuclear Power Engineer -(total brains)?????? If it is  not on the many teams to his approval? he cant understand the simple things.. (limited of the simple areas) he was always like that his mom said..But he is a great help to me at home after  my illness.  only mistake I  made was/is go go go go ----then he yells at the sons -"your mother doesn't have to do this and that so get this and that done" 

Your a good man Robert !  who take down the outside lights?  Wife have to tell you?? Kidding.. send pictures of your decorating of the holidays.. A home is our home- and love to see the decortations..

Marcie sounds like Tom is a good guy we all yell at our kids sometime I think . And sounds like he takes good care of you . Yeah I take them down outside same time she takes em down inside then I help her store them again till next year works out good that way . I don't know if I can put any pictures on I'm not to good with computers .

Ya, he is a good guy-- but "white coat fobia"  I shocked the heck out of him 3 years ago,  I try not to let him see the pain I was in or such--even with the Gull Bladder. Didn't want him to see the pain (but he sure was SORRY that he told me no ambulance -after I called 911 -that time-son drove me) AS, He may go through this.. God for bit!! 2 snezzes from him???? wont go there!!!!!! ____________________________ enough said..of the _______________________! 

But I made it through-and my eyes told it all for some time......... "can I help u" he says when I got home?  "NO!! do it myself" I knew that it would be hard driving to Club Med the day after I came home with 25 staples in my gut, so, I did ask him to drive me for a few weeks.. Boy did that hurt!! never got the proper rest after that surgery-- just had to go out to club med 3 x wk.  I am a trooper huh? 

Yes, the facial hair?  -- harmones......... :-) Your on the too of the list of a perfect guy.. 

Marcie yes of course we never want our spouse or anybody else to get or have to go through what we have all been through some of us more  than others but none of it any fun . I too am like you I don't like to ask for help . But sometimes like Z said ask for it ! We can all use a little help from time to time no shame in that n we shouldn't feel bad for it . Yes you are a trooper no doubt .

But I am still a little skeptical on that Santa Thing !!!!!!  :-)

Dear Santa Robert, For Christmas, I want a trip to Florida, or Arozina, for 2 months.. Along with a nurse to attend to my Power port and my 3x weekly dehydrations. Also, This includes Tom.  A pool just outside our VIP room, and if Florida, an ocean view- If Arozina, a view of the mountians.  NO KIDS!!!!!!!!!! This is to be all private and maybe a  few neighbors of fine quality--FUN-PEOPLE !!!!!!!  There will be a lounge to hold our meetings so all are welcome as your all high quality people.. 

This cannot be found on your sleigh mind you-so don't tell me you left it behind or at someone's door step.. 

p.s. Try to get Trumps private jet liner, as he is not using it now-I believe he will share this with his kind heart.. Or,  don't tell him...  Thank you in advance. Santa  Robert...

My wife and I have been through a lot of life together, too. Ups and downs,  ins and outs. The one constant in our lives is that we are in it together. When she goes to her job , it's for us, and when I cook dinner, it is also for us. 

Enough said. 

I also died and was given another chance to live. And it was more than once. An altruistic donor gave me a kidney . I promised her that I would not waste it.

So far ,I am keeping my promise. 

Even with the trials of becoming an ostomate,  I can say that I trying my best to face life squarely.  (If not,  my wife guides me back. I am glad for life.)

I am not complaining about the kvetching  that we are venting in the forum,  I just wish that spellchecker was used.

The Lounge is open!!  Page 13/14 please............

We are decorating the lounge for Christmas holidays.. Robert is bringing the flour and salt and water to make YES, our very own paste!! I have the blunt end scissors (remember them in 1st. grade?) got to make those scissors "talk" .. :-)  Have all the green and red paper to cut in strips and make loops to fit together.. FUN huh?  Barb. will decorate the tree with Illola and bubbles. Mary is bringing the egg nog and yes, John is bringing the gravy fries..  There is a corner table next to the fire place to sign the card for you know who--  My "Z" is coming with Tony. they Are bringing home made holiday cookies that they worked so hard on.. IF they say it is a ginger bread man THEN it IS a ginger bread man.. !!!!!!!!!!! :-O under stand?? 

Do to the high response this time, it is BYOB.. Uber is on call with vans and I also made arrangements at the "Denny's Inn.. " They also includes the grand Slam at 1/2 price in the a.m. until 1:00 p.m. So, we can sleep in.. You may thank me on the way out.. :-) 

Good Morning all Ok Marcie I have all that stuff n I'm on the way . Maybe we good do the balloon thing with the red n green paper n paste on the balloon ? Will the girls be using a rose bud looking thing on top of the tree to symbolize a stoma for us all ? :-) John can finally try eggnog I'd be glad to spice it up for him Ha . Marcie it sounds good but what are gravy fries ? Lol . The boys are bringing the cookies n yes I understand they look like Ginger Bread Men to me !!!!!! Oh, yes A rose bud is a perfect idea instead of a star.. Great IDEA Robert!!  Fielicity is making one.. she s the artist in the group I think.. Should be a beauty with her imangations!!! She cant put it up tho, kinda "purple chair" bound... 

The party is this Saturday and bring your loved one.. Proper dress required.. NO sweats pants etc allowed.. Gowns for the ladies.  We can rent them at Denny's Inn.. We can also get our hair done there too ladies..   Just bring your diamond jewelry.. It is a Gala affair..  Yes guys, slap on a tie.. 

Wheel chairs are available along with canes and walkers.. They are decorated also-- Sparkle, sparkle..  The fancy bathrooms are all finished painting now, and also decorated for this also-- Yes balloons -- They will be arriving late Friday-- It's a surprise..  I am so excited.... 

I am wearing a black simple long gown, with black lace v neck.. No skin showing.. (and a well padded bra.. :-) --lost the ladies mostly-- haha  )  Cant decide about my jewelry yet.. simple.. oh! We woman huh? such decisions.. 

Dr. appointment? Got some issues, but wont go into them right now-- Its a season of joy and love to one another.. But, I am sure I will be fine.. Thanks for asking..

I'm HERE !!!    I made it safe and sound. I dibbz putting the star on top of the tree sometime the tallest woman here I get to do it. At least I'm assuming that there's nobody else that's taller than 5 11 and a half of the female persuasion. We should establish the party this year as being the 1st Annual Christmas Ostoganza!!!  Come one, come all! And then we can continue it in years to come. I think this would be another good way to keep this marvelous group of ostomates together and doing good for people. I have been totally amazed at how good it makes me feel when someone has a question or a concern that I actually know something about and possibly can do something to help. So many people have passed on hints and tricks and things to me that it feels good for me to be able to pay back a little bit. So I think it's good for us all to be on both sides of the coin the giving and receiving.

I mentioned putting a star on top of the tree before. But I think the rosette is a better idea as we talked about it before being a symbol of our group. Let's do the Rose Band

O.K. !!!!!!!!!!! who let the dogs in????? They chased Mr. Poo (my cat) up the tree!!  God only knows how he got here-last I knew he was home with his father.. The tree is down, A 12 footer-- They even ate ROSE BUD!!! What a mess!!! Mr. Poo is eating tinsel we may have another Ostomate on our hands..   If he doesn't pass that!! :-O   The dogs have ripped through some of the gifts....... Mr. Santa has a job to do over here ...  Your on Robert... Mrs. Santa did the shopping.. Mark is getting the dogs cornered now for an exit.. Don't let them in the fancy bath rooms Bubbles!!! Illoa, John, Help!! Thank goodness, I managed to save the ginger bread men!!  AND, Yes, and ginger bread woman.. 

Someone was in the Egg Nog!!!!! Gonna be an interesting Saturday night!!
