Happy new year, everyone! It's crazy to think that another decade is over. Time goes by so much faster the older we get, so make the most of it!

Happy New Year! My mother-in-law used to make tourtiere (the family pronounced it “tut-cair”) that they ate on New Year’s Day, for good luck. I remember that it was so fragrant, with nutmeg in the mix.

@llholiday

I had to google this, but it sounds good. It is nice to have memories of traditions like that.

I am late for the celebration of the new year, but better late then never. I missed a lot over here, and I apologize for that, my son was very sick, and was in the hospital for a long time, and as he is the only family I have here, and as a good father, I was visiting him every day, rain or shine.

Wishing my Ostomates family a very happy new year, may we all be healthy (with or without the bags), and happy.

Dan

Dan - it is good to have you back.  That is great that you were able to be there for your son while he was in the hospital.  I'm sure it meant a lot to him!!  I hope he is doing better now.  Happy New Year!

Dan I'm sorry to hear about your son. I hope he's feeling better now. He's lucky to have such a dedicated father. Happy New Year to you both!
