I have not had my morning espresso for two weeks tomorrow. I was not sure I would survive with out it but I am slowly getting used to not having it. That said I do miss it and have not put the espresso machine completely away, keeping a small hope that someday I will be able to have it again. Have a good day. cygo Are you giving it up for any particular reason? Good luck with your efforts! Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. The nutritionist recommended quitting espresso at least for now. I sort of wanted to stop drinking it any way so I figured I would. BUT I gave in and went back to one a day and it does not appear to have any adverse effects. I put a lot of effort to ensure I am getting my required hydration and nutrition daily so I think it will be ok. Maybe once I am working out regularly again and my energy level picks up a bit I will try to give it up once and for all. I took a look at the Cronometer app you mentioned and downloaded it. I really like it because I tend to forget how much water I have drank in a day so the app helps me keep on top of that and also the various nutrients. Thank you for that app recommendation. cygo I have always been a coffee drinker. Black, no sugar. I've never really been a water fan, though if i'm hot i can sip it. I drink fizzy pop (zero sugar) and fruit juices sometimes. I can't stand TEA, it revolts me. Strangely when i was suffering with morning sickness during all of my pregnancies i could not stand Coffee it made me sick, yet i could drink Tea. Thats the only time i could drink it though! Coffee is my vice, I can't function without it first thing in the morning ☕️ I was good with keeping my coffee consumption to a minimum and having the odd coffee once or twice a week. Lately however I’ve been averaging 2-4 a day mostly visiting my buddy or his mom. Despite this I do drink an exorbitant amount of water so at least I’m well hydrated lol I can't stand TEA, it revolts me. I love tea, but Earl Grey repulses me. Have you tried herbal teas, in particular, the more fruity kind? They can taste more like juice than tea, and may be a good alternative to traditional tea👌 Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
