Glad to hear that you are getting better. Rehab is a necessity if you have been out of commission. God bless America! When you get out, draw us a verbal portrait of what you see , so that we can share your experience.

Sorry I've not been around so to speak. I've been working on building up, walking more and eating as much as I can to gain weight.

Seems like everytime I turn around I'm eating something :p I'm averaging 2300 calories a day, the goal is to gain a lb a week to 130ish lbs. Currently 122 lbs.

Today was my first day back at work, half days for the week. It was good to be there and see all my coworkers and our lovely old folks. Hugged and thanked them for their prayers and support.

Medically I continue to be good. After I last saw Dr B, the GI Surgeon, he said he'll see me in two more months. Saw Dr W, the Gyno Surgeon, she's seeing me again next week, still healing and had a little infection.

I know what you mean about those clips Barb. When I cared for a lady that had those it was the worst. When I had my very first bag it was one  of those. Never felt like it was clean... I use the Hollister bags that roll up at the bottom and Velcro shut. I do like those, nothing to use and the end is covered.

Barbara and Felicity good to see you both back . Felicity back to work already that's good but just be careful don't wanna rip anything loose . Barbara I used those Hollister bags with the clip at first too and tucking that clip in my pants got to be kinda painful . So I switched to the Hollister ones like Felicity uses with the Velcro those work much better for me .

Great to see you back, Felicity!

Let us know how the weight gain goes - I know that increasing your food intake may increase your output, so be prepared for that.

I was really not managing enough nutrition or calories before so I have to break my bad habits so far as eating is concerned. Small amounts more often. Eating breakfast. Drinking enough fluids.

Output has increased, thickened too. Actually had a bit of a leak today, I might be decreasing my wear time from 7 to 6. Nothing has changed with how I do my flange, only change is lots of output.
