GREAT that you are done! AND you got the hated NG tube removed! I too love bad puns ... there are so many involving us! Hold on to your butts!

When will you go home?

Nu, Barbara,Β  So what's new by you?

You have to admit that your miracle is tremendously inspiring. I just cannot imagine that you can go on the talk show circuit and talk about it , yet. Give it time.

By the way, what's a fecal transplant. I have a liver transplant and a kidney transplant, too. I can't get a rectal transplant,Β  because I am not an asshole ! I have a dear friend who got a heart transplant.Β  I heard about lung transplant.Β  But I don't know what a fecal transplant is.Β

I've been told that I am full ofΒ  {β–‘β–‘β–‘β–‘}. Can I donate some? Is there a National Feces Day? A Jerry Lewis Labor Day Marathon for the good cause?Β

Barbara , we are grateful that you are able to get off the commode and share your frightening experience with us. We are with you 100%.

Z

I hope i didn't upset you with my crude humor.Β  Tell me if you want a funny joke or two.Β

Z

They finished about an hour ago. I really enjoy crappy puns, butt more on that later.Β  🤣

Haha! If a sense of humor could cure our illnesses, we'd be immortal!

I hope everything went well, Barbara!Β Β

Dear barbara,

i feel that i owe you an apology for not being sympathetic enough about your transplant.

i googled the subject and read extensively about fecal transplant. i am curious to know what method did they use to implant the transplant. you now are developing a new micro-biome and are going through some physical changes. odds are that you are now cured from the C-Diff invasion , and you should be back in the saddle real soon.

hope to hear from you soon.

Well some decisions get made quickly . My surgeon was just came in. The rest of my colon will be removed on Friday, the 27th. It will be the final death knell for c-diff. It is going to be a difficult surgery and healing but I am up for it.Β  So good bye colonostomy, hello iliostomy.

This is good news! It will definitely get rid of the c. Diff and then you can really heal up. Also, since you are already used to the whole ostomy thing, thats going to make recovery that much easier.Β  I'll be thinking of you on Friday.Β

Good, Any surgery is difficult.Β  But you will be feeling better with all that puss and infection gone, you will be on your feet in no time.Β  Nothing better than getting rid of an infection right?Β  Get rid of that and your on a healthy start again.Β  Glad your not going back to rehab, that does not help this at all.Β  Maybe you don't have to go to rehab, after all you have your aids 3 days a week, house keeper, and a visiting nurse coming in all week any ways. And home is best to get well..Β

Remember, we iliostomys are here to answer all your questions for your next adjustments. And don't be afraid--things as you know change early on after surgery...………You will be the 'ol Barb. in 3-4 weeks.Β  Infections takes so much out of you.. I had so many they (infections) put me into a coma)Β  Your in good hands and stronger now.Β  The surgery will go well for you. I surived and you will too!!Β  When something is making you so sick, your body is so thankful to be rid of it and it wakes up with a dawn of a new day of sunshine!!Β  Then that sunshine is on your face.Β  And the pouching is not new to you so you will be a wonder woman by Tuesday!!Β  Now, Keep that smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Β

Sending prayers and a thought of wellness towards you always.Β  Marcie. :-) Β  :-) Β  :-) Β

Happy for you!!Β  But sorry that you had to go through all of this for so long.Β  Happy days ahead for you!!Β  Remember, weΒ
