Thanks for all the good advice! I think between the possibility of surgical complications and complications to deal with from a J Pouch in general, I'll probably stick with the ostomy. Seeing as how this really is an improvement on my quality of life, I can't imagine having to deal with worsening perianal disease and the possibility of Crohn's.
