@tony-h Oh wow!! It's like you're sitting on a bunch of small balloons! Way different from the foam/gel you typically see! I'm glad it's helping you.

Heading towards 6 weeks post surgery and really doing well, wound has dried up completely, and just getting aches every now and then in the area

Fully off the opiates and just taking paracetamol (Tylenol),

Thanks for all the support , don't really know what I would do without this site ❤️ 🙌

Just a final update, saw my surgeon yesterday and everything has healed up perfectly, he said I'm good for another 40 years now (all I asked for was 10😀) and he said no more UC as no more colon and never wants to see me again ,

Anyway for anyone needing a good colorectal surgeon In Ireland , you can't go wrong with Shane Killeen, an absolute gentleman and not a bad surgeon too ,

My wound site is just a clean line with no obvious sign of surgery apart from the lack of ⭐️,

anyway thanks again for all the great support esp John 🫠 .

@tony-h that is the best news! Your surgeon sounds like he has a sense of humour. And wow - 40 more years! Now you’ll have to take good care of yourself or you’ll lose the bet.😁

Hey Tony, I am absolutely delighted 😃.  I suppose if you really miss the ⭐️ What about a tattoo. I would go for a treasure map an X with a shovel  or a rabbit scratching it’s head or a sign saying EV charger, ⛽️ around the other side. Tony enjoy the benefits 🕺🤗👍

@tony-h Fantastic news, Tony! Not a bad timeline through this whole process, either. Nice!

Tony... That's great news! It's always nice to heal well & in a good time line from a big surgery!!

John... tattoo... you first! Lol...

On that note, yesterday morning bright & early,  I've been scoped by a lovely Lady Gastroenterologist & I am waiting on results of biopseys.  I've  been told the area is highly inflamed & bleeds easily, something the Gastro Doc called it was " FRIABLE ". Anyone heard that term. I³ googled it & it's  interesting.  If I tried to describe how it feels, It's  much like I would imagine a hot pinecone up there most of the time making sitting an interesting accomplishment! Lol!

Seriously.. thank you John for bringing this topic forward! Lololol....

Prevention is the best medicine!

@tony-h  ... Thank you so much Tony!  Waiting is hard, but it's all part of the process. The way I see it, the quicker they respond, the bigger the problem! Lol!
