i havent seen this topic on any ostomy site. they are in every bathroom in thailand. its a kitchen spray nozzle on a 4 or 5 foot hose next to the toilet and anyone who has ever had a UC flare knows toilet paper feels like razor blades after youve wiped 25X before noon. well this thing also makes cleaning the output opening on your bag a snap. also makes rinsing the bag out when youre having a pancaking issue super easy as well. for those of you in north america, you can order one thru amazon ( not that they need more business but they are cinvienient ) for $26 and easily install it with a cresent wrench. if you dont have one im sure a friend does. i tried adding a few pics of this device and where to find it on amazon but i cant figure out how to do that, maybe someone can give me a clue and i will edit this topic if thats possible. hope this helps......... Great Topic David!! Yes we've heard of the hose & nozle. It was a recent topic along with an ostomate here changing a toilet over in in his home. I've found the one I want & bcuz of all Erics work in keeping His site clean & info as up to date as possible there is a way to thank him & keep Amazon from loading their pockets a little less. When your up to it have a read here on supporting Eric thru our Amazon orders. He gets a wee bit of money from our purchases thru Amazon to buy better whatever he needs to keep this amazing friendly site going all while raising his family & making great videos for us to learn from. Thank you again Eric! Back to the hose & nozzle hookup at the throne! Lol! I'll be ordering the one I've chosen soon & have my Son install it for me bcuz John here lives to far away!! Lolol! I'm tired of using plastic cups I toss weekly to rinse my pouch out with! The hose & nozle is going to come in very handy!! I'm sure you'll hear from the Gentlemen here on this topic as well. Linda Yep Linda the mileage would be a killer never mind the carbon footprint ? ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns @davidinthailand In North America, these are often called "bidet toilet attachments" and people who use them swear by it! Yes, they are very inexpensive and easy to set up. I wish I had one while I was flaring before having my stoma surgery! Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
