This works really well in the bathroom - the aerosol can is made for some sort of automatic little machine (I noticed that the bathroom in our local strip mall has one, which smells heavenly) but can be used by itself, like a can of hairspray. One spritz is plenty, and the can lasts a very long time. They come in a variety of scents. When I had my colostomy the hospital sent me home with a 5.25 (the larger size) can of the Fresh Linen scent, which I am not crazy about though it does the trick. After more than a year it seemed to be mostly still full but I bought another called Country Delight, which I like better. Both are quite effective.

Interesting. Does it trigger when you walk by or something like that?

They had something like that at my last job. It wasn’t Rubbermaid, but rather a generic brand. There was one in each stall in the bathroom. I like the way it is a controlled amount when you push the nozzle thing, so people didn’t get out of control spraying stuff, it was just a spritz.

@veganostomy

The one in the bathroom in the mall seems to give a little puff every couple of minutes but at home I just give a little manual spritz before I leave the bathroom. It looks like the little machines come in home or industrial sizes.

We use that stuff in the staff bathroom at work.  It is designed to go in a machine, but we just use it manually.  One little spray goes a long way.

And you don’t need the machine; the aerosol can is fine by itself. I wish I knew the scent of the one in the mall bathroom but the people working there might give me a funny look if I started asking sround!

You’ll have to keep experimenting until you find it. Then let us know what it is. 😀
