Hey guys, I'm still using Niltac adhesive remover spray and wipes, and noticed that Convatec seems to have discontinued them or maybe rebranded them into the Esenta line. Has anyone used Niltac and now using Esenta? I wonder how they compare. If nobody has, I may just ask Convatec if this is a product rebrand 🤣 Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. Hey Eric, It seems to have been a rebrand. I have been getting them in my order in this form for about 18 months. Still the same good product but do be aware that the tin of spray doesn’t last as long and gives no warning it’s gonna run out. ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns hi Eric, I’ll be curious what you find out. I’ve been using the Esenta since Byram stopped carrying the convatec. Now they are no longer carrying the Esenta either. Luckily I have a little bit of a surplus saved up. I’ve looked online and it doesn’t seem as though they carry any adhesive remover spray. They are super expensive, and my insurance requires me to use Byram for my supplies. My ostomy nurse took pity on me last time I was there and gave my a couple extra cans. -Liza I’ll be curious what you find out. I’ve been using the Esenta since Byram stopped carrying the convatec. Now they are no longer carrying the Esenta either. As John pointed out, the Esenta product seems to be a rebrand of Niltac. Unfortunately, both brands are under the Convatec umbrella, so if your supplier stopped carrying convatec, they won't have either of those two product lines. If you can get the Hollister or Coloplast adhesive remover sprays, they should work just as well. Most sprays seem to be identical in formula, and I only notice a difference with wipes (some brands have a more oily product, which are a pain when prepping your skin for an adhesive wafer!). Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. @veganostomy ... I was going to ask if anyone here has noticed a change in the Coloplast Adhesive Remover Wipes?? About a month or so back, with a new order of supplies, I found I used about half the amount of wipes I'd used before. Once on my skin I typically need to use about double the combination of wipes & spray. Lately though, after about 3 or 4 used wipes, I'll pour water over my skin using a wipe to help remove residue especially around the skin of my stoma. Once patted dried, I'll use one more Wipe & some spray and by feel I can tell if any residue remains or not. I use the Spray on my skin and on the cloth for added moisture. Eric, Thank You for all your trials of products and for always being present as much as you can to help & provide support. It's an AMAZING SITE You have created here!!! I know I'm not your Momma, but Young Man, I am so proud of YOU !!! Thank you to your FAMILY for sharing you with us too. Linda I was going to ask if anyone here has noticed a change in the Coloplast Adhesive Remover Wipes?? I haven't used those in a while, so I can't comment. I'd be interesting to know if any changes were made over the last little while, though. Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.

With how rough my skin is, I can’t imagine not having spray any more.
