Anyone have luck finding a colostomy bag cover that works with the basic holister elastic belt (7300 product number). I have a retracted stoma so am using a convex barrier and the belt as well to try to prevent leaks.

Would love advice.

Welcome to the forums :)

I find that pouch covers tend to be fiddly when you have a belt like that attached. The ideal cover for support belt compatibility would have some kind of slit or hole that would allow the belt to pass through, holding both the cover and pouch in place. I have yet to see one with this design.

Have you considered any alternatives? Like an ostomy wrap or other support garment?

I've been using these for the last year: https://www.ostomypouchpockets.com/

They have some advantages and disadvantages over a pouch cover, but they would work well with a support belt attached to your bag.

@veganostomy thats pretty niffty!! I like that it goes through the belt loops to alleviate the weight and it’s not constricting the pouch or output in any way.

It can "pinch" the output in certain situations (i.e. mostly when sitting), but not so much of a problem that it would prevent me from using or recommending it.

@veganostomy I’ve been using a corsinol Ostomy wrap but it kind of constricts things and have been currently looking for something less constricting. This may be an option.  I really don’t care for the covers that are sold in line because they are too obvious. I work nights and when my client is sleeping I just pull my pouch out of my wrap and let things flow.

Yeah, compared to pretty much any wrap, the Pouch Pocket works way better!
