Quick question, possibly for the ladies.  My daughter is trying to simply smooth out her bag under her leggings and tighter fitting clothes.  I watched the video on the Stealth belt vs. comfort belt and she isn't quite sure she wants to wear her bag sideways although it is an intriguing option.

Any suggestions of something that would work under her leggings, jeans etc.

One caveat is she also has a g tube so we would like the band to sit high enough for the ostomy but not too high that it interferes with the g tube.  We might have a hole custom cut for the g tube.

I wear stretchy camis, which smooth things over the stoma and appliance. They are comfortable and don’t bind, and the colored and patterned ones look good if they should show below a shirt, The brand I buy is Jockey, but I know that there are many others. You could cut a little hole for her g tube (but cut very small, perhaps just a slit - the fabric is very stretchy.  - I would cut a vertical slit, which would probably allow more “give” for her as she moves.)

PS. The camis I buy have a very thin silicone/plastic strip all around the bottom, on the inside - this seems to grip the fabric of my pants/leggings and keeps the camis down, and I have never had one ride up.

Colostomy 4/30/18.
I love the smell of coffee in the morning. It smells like .... victory.

I don’t have luck with bands. They slip up due to hip/waist ratio guys don’t have. I find the best is good old high waisted shape wear    like spanx or maidenform. Walmart or Target have good selections and less expensive. Then I cut wherever I need holes. I wear an insulin pump so I need openings everywhere!  Good luck. Trial and error!

OK yeah…I was thinking shape wear for under her leggings…I guess the added plus is it hold everything else in place to;) You would think the leggings would do the trick but her bag is so darned big and cumbersome.  She is going to call around and try some smaller size bag options ie: 10" or midi.  She is so petite and has very manageable output I bet they will work.  Just waiting to get back to college so she is there for the delivery, otherwise it will get lost in the mailroom somewhere.
