Welcome aboard Robin and Herbie! When I have one of those days where I am forced to adapt, improvise, and overcome, I then often feel like I am ready to take on the world! UC at age 18, 1981. Diagnosed at 20, proctocolectomy with permanent ileostomy at age 23, 1986. Welcome Robin and Herbie! Thanks for sharing your story - do you plan to return to frisbee golf in the future? :-D Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. ~ Crohn's Disease ¦ Ileostomy ~ thanks for the warm welcome! yes firsbee golf is fun if you havent tried before you should!! Hi Robin, Welcome aboard! It does sound like you have a positive attitude, which is so important. Yes, a good day is when you have not problems with your appliances. Wishing you good luck and God's blessings! Stella I think that's cool that you named your stoma. I was going to get a face tattooed on mine so it looked like it was throwing up but changed my mind because it's supposed to be reversed so why waste the money. If the reversal doesn't work out I might do it. So anyway, I think you're safe in the weird department :)
