Hello all,

I have an Ileostomy since 14-03-2018 and have been ill with Crohns disease since 2003. I have followed Veganostomy for a while before getting my stoma and I was very grateful for the information I found on here, really helped me to properly prepare so I thought I´d become a member of the community and help others too who are going through this.

I am a 30 year old woman from the Netherlands, work as a social media manager for a vegan charity and am a happy ostomate. I am really glad I did it, it has already improved my life a lot compared to what it was before surgery!

Any questions are always welcome.

Yes it was very nice to stumble upon this community, so glad to find an online group of Ostomates!

Thanks for the welcome.

And I don´t speak Afrikaans but I can understand it somewhat as it is related to Dutch. I did understand the question :)

Glad you could understand Afrikaans, I don't have many chances to use it. Just not apt of Afrikaaners in Spokane, WA
