I schedule my changes every 5 days. i do NOT eat anything past 6pm the night before a change and i walk my dog to make sure i am completely empty, i then empty and rince the bag using bum gun mounted next to toilet.  i stand next to the garbage can during install.      i use convatec esenta spray and wipes for removal ( least abrasive on my skin and ive tried them all ) then install a 2mm silicon barrier ring ( the white ones absorb too much liquid and always leak for me ) to my base plate before getting in a quick hot shower.  i wash and shave that area with 100% natural soap, pat stoma dry w folded paper towel and then use a hand held usb fan for quick dry,  2 coats of spray cavilon, again using small handheld fan to make sure its completely dry between coats,  then install a B Braun Flexima 2 pc ( 55mm ) bag.   the base plate is super easy to trim and comfortable on my skin. ( i use an extra large roll of toilet paper in a ziplock bag to help seal the base plate to my skin, cant remember where i got that hack from but passing it on ) while some weeks i could probly stretch it out to 6 or 7 days,  5 days seems to work best for me due to hair growth and excessive sweating in the humid thailand heat.   That's what preparation looks like! Good job on the setup, and thank you for sharing. Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate.
