We could/ should start a new thread then... Crohn's Colitis, Ilieostomy, Proctocolectomy November 2017 Just wait lads to they get onto the subject of shoes. Only kidding Ladies lol ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns GM All Dona definitely not TMI . Glue poo you guys are funny . Mine too seems to vary dependent on what I eat and I'm not a healthy eater .  Pretty much meat n potatoes and I do like my dessert candy , ice cream , cakes etc. And I have actually even lost 45 pounds since my first surgery in 2014 . Never gave the sweets or sugar much thought what does seem to give me glue poo is breads , peanuts , chips that kinda stuff . But as long as I drink plenty of fluids and maybe rinse my bag isn't to much trouble . Felicity sounds like Dona has a good idea about the extra storage space for supplies . I have that space too Ill have to ck into that . Haha Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis I also use a backpack like Felicity to carry the bulk of my supplies and extra clothes . But for just a quick use when out running around I carry wet wipes (in a zip lock baggie) extra bag the small trash bag that comes with my bags couple packs of deodorizing lubricant and couple pieces of TP . But I mostly wear cargo shorts so I have plenty of extra pockets . I used to carry a small bottle of Poo-Pourri till I was in a restaurant and all of a sudden it leaked and my pocket was soaked . At least I didn't stink ! Ha Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis So how about the guys any ideas on a different bag ? Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis Follow the "Bag for your bag" discussion for storage bag ideas ;) Just your friendly neighborhood ostomate. Thanks Bag master A strap shouldn't be to hard to come up with . But I will follow the Bag for your bag discussion first before I jump into it . I do like that though might have to get 2 ! Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis must check that out myself, One thing I am trying to cut down on it white bread as I find it is starting to bloat me. Its only in the last few months I have had the problem so its an on going lesson on what your system can deal with. just home from the shops and picked up a bottle of prune juice. never had it before and I have to say it quite nice. its only about half an hour since I took it and their is a "rumble in the jungle" could it work that quickly or is it a coincidence. Californian Prune Juice too! ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns John I have never tried prune juice grape or orange juice seems to work good for me . Good luck with the rumble in the jungle . Hope it doesn't make the jungle rumble to much ! Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis Well since my last post I can tell you its dynamite. its 7 45 pm here and just finished for the day and very glad I didn,t take it first thing this morning. But its a good feeling if you know what I mean ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns Ha yes good thing you didn't drink it any later thou . Hopefully it doesn't keep you busy all night ! And yes I know what you mean ! I'm sure it is a good feeling . Lol . I may have to try it myself ! Proctectomy , Ileostomy , Ulcerative Colitis Hi All, Results on the prune juice, it gets the thumbs up from me. my output has been a little too thick for my liking and this was a healthy natural way to sort the system out. now it may have been only me! but as I said it did work very rapid so not a good idea any body if your heading out and certainly not before a roller coaster ride Eric. ileostomy 31st August 1994 for Crohns
