On my Hollister two-piece bag, I discovered that the end of the opening spout often hangs too low and never stays in the flap. I use paper medical tape to keep it in flap, it also comes off easily to empty, and doesn’t damage the cheap hollister fabric. I can use one piece all day long.

Good option, Rick!

I've used Velcro in the past with great success, so that could also be an option to consider. Have a look.

Oh, well, I never really thought about it and just let it dangle. Perhaps I'll check out having it not dangle!

What I don't like about a dangling outlet is that it can get caught up on things and inadvertently open.

And for some who wear their bag under their clothing, it can scratch up your legs, too! In fact, the outlet edges on Hollister bags have chewed through SEVERAL pouch covers over the years! 🤣

I went back to my convatec active life. Not trusting any Velcro or the like on the ends. I either got a bad batch of mios or it’s that they just leak at the bottom.. the mios are very short tailed but I like my clip on my convatec. I can stay confident that nothing is coming out unless I let it out. I do like the longer tails as they help with back splash. I wear a garment that has an opening you can tuck the end into. No problems but as for free falling and just letting it hang? No it gets pulled on from pants as I’m walking around etc…
