I had the pleasure of visiting Orlando, Florida for both AIBD 2017 and the IBD Social Circle Summit.
During part of my stay, a few friends and I hung out at Universal Studios Resort for a couple of days.
After they left, I decided to do a walking tour of the Garden Walk leading out of the Cabana Bay resort and into the CityWalk area at Universal Studios.
It was a fun walk that I took several times during my stay.
Part of my advocacy work is to show others that having an ostomy or IBD shouldn’t mean missing out on life. Walking is something I love doing and the Garden Walk/ CityWalk now has a special place in my heart.
The following playlist will give you a 360° view of the walk while I share a few notes along the way.
Enjoy!

Hi Eric, That’s amazing, one thing I always notice in a country with a warm dry climate is how bright and fresh every thing looks. Over here in Ireland our damp weather may give the emerald isle its name but it makes every thing green ie foot paths, buildings etc. I swear if you stood long enough in the one place it would happen to people. glad to see you took time out for yerself on the trip. Many thanks for sharing that enjoyed!!
Yes, things really do look more vibrant down there! I’m looking out my window here in Canada and things almost look monochrome 😣
