Hubby and I made the trek to the Cleveland Clinic monday tuesday and wednesday for my radiated iodine to ablate the rest of my thyroid. I only had three tiny spots in my neck that lit up during the scan after my low dose. Just residual bits of my thyroid left over from surgery, so my high dose wasnt as much as they first thought. So instead of 5 days of isolation I only have to do 3 days.

I am already bored...lol

We go back on May 4th for my final scan to make sure the dose went where it was supposed to go and this process will be finished...just a check up with the doc in 6 months

Now we are just waiting on the phone call to schedule my fistula repair...ever onward
