I went to an ostomy support group (coffee and rolls, interesting speakers, fun) where I met a woman called Linda - same name as mine - who invited me to her “Linda Club” of ladies named Linda who get together to socialize. Well, I don’t know what the odds are but it turns out that there are three of us Lindas who are ostomates in that club! Today the three of us met for lunch. Colostomy 4/30/18. Oh, that's delightful! Always great to make new friends! At my workplace we have three women called Rianne, which can sometimes be very confusing! Incontinent in a better way, since 12 July 2023 I love the idea of a Linda club! I'm always curious what second names are when I meet a new Linda & to this day I have to ask their middle name. When I met my brothers girlfriend, also a Linda, we compared middle names & as it turns out we were both "Linda Louise". In high school there were 3 Lindas in my group of friends & we often ate lunch together. It was pretty fun! The only draw back of having two Lindas in my family was it took a while to figure out which Linda was being spoken to. Some of my siblings resorted to calling us by our initials, I became LK. I hope you can meet with your group often & really enjoy your new club! Linda Linda, I am so happy to hear you have found a nice local support group and it is hilarious that there are 3 Lindas. That is something that never happens to me. 🤣 Speaking of Lindas, LK, I heard our wildfire crossed over into Canada and it sounds like it was in your vicinity.
