Hi all,

I was wondering if you could keep my husband, Lee in your thoughts and prayers. Lee discovered a growth in his lower right eyelid about a week or so ago. Two nights ago, it started bleeding. Fortunately, he was able to see his primary care doctor yesterday, and she believes it's benign but I am still asking prayers for guidance and healing. Currently, we are trying to get him in to see an ophthalmologist. Thanks so much.

God bless,

Stella

Hi Stella, You both are most certainly in my thoughts and prayers. Early  diagnosis is always important.

God Bless🙏

Stella,

I am sending love and healing thoughts your way. Let us know how everything goes. 💕

I love that this group supports each other in other parts of life, other than just our ostomies!!

Thank you all for your support and caring. It's seems when things are going along too smoothly, something always crops up. I am trying to trust God in all this knowing that His ways may be different than ours, but always the best for us. I am not saying God caused this, but that sometimes God allows suffering in our lives and brings good from it.

God bless,

Stella

@sjlovestosing...Stella, Yes, by all means! You have as much pray as I can possibly be giving on behalf of you & your husband. Waiting for news on tests as you know is always hard to do.  Be as strong as you can be.

Lee went to his doctor who said he needed to see a specialist. She believed it was benign because it came on suddenly. Lee also did some research over the past few days and finally found a website that actually had a picture and accurate description of what's going on with his eye - pyogenic granuloma. It is a benign condition, but needs to be removed. This morning, he is going to call an ophthalmologist who specializes in surgery of the eyelids and lesions. I'll definitely keep you all posted.

Again, thank you all for your support.

God bless,

Stella

...Stella, that sounds good so far!! There's nothing like good news when it comes to these kind of issues. I'm so happy to hear this. Are Waits long for these kind of appointments in the states??

Actually, Lee was able to get an appointment this coming Monday with the ophthalmologist that he wanted, since the doctor specializes in eyelid surgery. At first he was scheduled for May 24, but then the receptionist consulted with the doctor and they scheduled him sooner.

God bless,

Stella

Hello dear friends,

Thank you so very much for your thoughts and prayers for Lee. He went to the opthalmologist yesterday and had the growth taken care of. It was a benign growth caused by either an irritation or a blocked duct. The doctor was able to snip it out with no problems. Lee has to put ointment on the area for two weeks and that's it. He has a follow-up appointment next week. So far, his eye lid feels much better!

God bless you all,

Stella❤️
