Thanks so much for all the encouragement. I don't feel much like a trooper most of the time. But then sometimes when I sit down and total up all of the crap that has gone on in my life in the last 20 or 30 years I wonder sometimes how it made it through. Often it has just been because of good friends and now I have found more which really help with this little walk in the park.

By the way did you get the reply that I made to your pictures. I love them all I think you have good taste and it's in a lot of ways similar to my own many of the things that you have in your home would go very well in my little apartment or even in the old house that used to have. I'm working on a picture of the snow to send the lottery I'll let you know when it's done

Hey Marcie no I haven't tried to make the quiche yet but I did try to make some scalloped corn didn't come out quite the way it was supposed to  but did taste good . Learn from our mistakes  !! Next one will be better  . Then quiche !!!!

Robert, My vertigo is gone and I didn't take any of the meds the Dr. gave  me.  The ringing in my ears are still ringing odd tunes tho-but I have had that as of my big operation 3 years now. Goah!! 3 years ago this past end of October.. I finally came home from the hospital/nursing home from  April 2014!!  Talk about an ANNIVERSARY!! 

Felicity, Got a nice chair saved for you here so u can join us for a hour and get a break from your getting ready of next few weeks adventure, and the same comfy chair will be yours afterwards for your healing purpose..(you can break it in today) I ordered it in PURPLE-thought that you would like the color--to match your hair?

The quiche is in the oven, I brought carrot cake, Eric made a huge salad, looks good Eric!!!!

Dill pickles are yummy-John is laughing at me as I eat them like corn on the cob....(I plan on polishing Toms shoes with the rines-bannans r to expensive...

Well, bubbles is drinking all the white z's......... A rather happy girl--Got to get Tony over here to help out again if she keeps this up--- He may have more on his hands as I am enjoying a proper brunch drink--Bloody Marys........ ohhh oh, Barbara is over there pouring some burbon in her coffee-- cute Barbara............ its suppost to be cream d'mint.........

Guilty as charged. I didn't think that anyone would notice that it was bourbon that was going in there but oh well the way it is. Once in awhile a good shot makes you feel good but with all the pain meds I'm on my got to watch it and not have too much cuz I could put me way over the top. There now running me on morphine sulfate long-acting so I take it every 12 hours and they've also giving me Oxycodone to take every 4 hours for breakthrough pain and unfortunately I'm still using way too much pain meds I want to get off of it really bad which is why I'm considering the conversation and considering with my surgeon. Wish you'd taken the whole dang thing when he was in there instead of pussyfooting around and just taking a bit.

Ya, Barb, I agree- They like to keep cutting don't they? "well, this part doesn't look like the cancer go to it YET-staple her up and see what happens next month"  Wish they could suffer like us and see reality........ oh--My upper GI is having surgery on his area of expertises..  Maybe I  will get some understanding --------  ?????????? I am sure that he is acting up like he is the only one that has surgery--THey are the worst patients..

Well for me it's been a long hard week. And it looks like another one coming up. So I decided I needed to spend a little time in the lounge and just chill. I'm sitting here at the infamous corner table by the bathroom and wondering where everyone is. I don't even find Marcie anybody seen her lately? Just going to try to think happy thoughts today period and not dwell on the junk. It seems to get me down. Wishing everyone a happy Sunday and hope your day goes well.

Hi Barbara, yes the junk stays out of the fun lounge indeed!!! DId u invite Eric? I see some Motor cycles coming up-may be Tony and Robert and John..  Nice day for a ride huh? I used to ride motor cycles in my younger days.. I hopped on one last month, and just let my hair fly free-wonderful !!! Kinda took my breath away-- Nellie didn't care much for it  tho- Tom used to ride all through Europe, Ireland, etc. IT was a Harley.. bought it over there.  Ohh here comes Mary-- Ohhhhhh My God, she rode in on a motor cycle!!!!!!! You go Mary!!! Bubbles is coming in on a red bike-just peddling away.........Get The the White 'z's out........  Barbara, I think u should call triple A-got a flat tire... :-( 

I can see the emblem on the back of their leathers it's a cute red rose bud with Eric' tee shirt moto "No colon, still rollin" under it!! Don't ya love it?

Instead of a motorcycle gang riding around creating havoc, we roar off to new ostomates homes to help them over the initial hurdles of ostomy life!!

Cute Barb!!!! Roberts rosebud is flopping around-I think he made it himself.  Eric has a pouch on his helmet.. 

This is better that "the View" on t.v.-- (don't care much for that show)--  Well, they are now inside and ordering up a few beers.. It is the MAN thing... did u call triple A yet? We have a new member Barbara, she has RA real bad too-maybe you can invite her to the LOUNGE and have a talk..  She lives "down under" as they say-so proberly having dinner or sleeping. But I am sure that she will love to hear from you with this... Eric just ordered another large beer-must be a plant thing.. WIsh Robert would take off his leather jacket, that home made rosebud of his is getting some laughs.. So what do u think Robert?

Okay it's time for me to give everyone the laugh of the day. We all need a good laugh on a Sunday afternoon. So I sneaked out of the lounge for a little while and went to church. About halfway through the sermon Stella decided that she had to make her presence known. And so she started off with a good heavy output that made me decide I needed to ask it to the restroom. So I grabbed my emergency kit slipped out of the Pew walked 3 paces and fell flat on my face in the middle of the aisle. Yep right there in front of God and all those Witnesses Barbara was laying on the floor wishing she could crawl under the pew. Lots of people of course came to my Aid half of them wanted to help me get up the other half wanted me to stay there and not move I won I got up. I sneaked out the door went down the hall and took care of Stella and then came back and sat down for a while I'll never been that embarrassed in my whole life. But now that I look back it's good for a laugh.

soooooo Which pew out did the other pew? 

Luckily there was no explosion from Stella. My pouch had gotten pretty full. I was wearing my stoma protector and thinking it saved the day. That would have been quadruple the embarassment
